One of My Favorites
The lamp fixture is really nice. It’s much larger than my previous dual-lamp dome, but not as large as the single domes I had. We have 2 bearded dragons that require heat lamps. I recently moved them into a larger aquarium at about the same time my toddler got ahold of our heat lamp and set it on the living room carpet, scorching the wires which then melted into the new carpet…AND that’s when I came on here to buy a new one. For the size of tank I have it heating (80gal), I really should have bought larger bulbs to go with it, but that’s my bad. It’s hard to know exactly how big the fixture will be until you see it in person. I bought the lights pictured with the lamp, and although they work great they sit high up so the bulk of the heat doesn’t penetrate very far down into the tank. BUT the lamp itself is worth buying. It looks nice, not too bulky and operates as it should. Would highly recommend

This is the only one I can find that will hold the wattage bulbs I get for my bearded dragons tank.

Keeps my beardie happy
One of the best products you can buy for your little pets. You can put a different type of bulb in each side of the dome, using both at the same time or just one at a time. Most put a basking heat bulb in one side and a UVB bulb in the other side or sometimes a night bulb (but i personally do not use night bulbs). This deep dome keeps my bearded dragon Behjan happy and healthy. And when they are happy you are happy!

Great for beardie in 75 gal terrarium
Used in 75gal (48x20x18) terrarium for 3yo beardie. Nice to have both bulbs so close together in her favorite basking spot.We have another single bulb fixture on the other end of the terrarium for a nighttime heat bulb

Didn’t last long at ALL
So I have a few reptiles that need both day and night heat, as well as UVB. I figured this would at least help take one of three lights and condense what was on top of their tanks. Too good to be true? Maybe. I feel like these are not sturdy/durable. This was my second one that shorted out. I had a high watt bulb in each side for day/night but only one on at a time. The side with the day bulb burnt out first both times. If I need a dual light fixture in the future I will be taking my money elsewhere.

Love it
Bought a second one I liked it so much.Love the separate power cords and switches for each light. I can set it up for all hours to simulate the sun/night for my desert dwelling Uromastyx.The adjustable height is so much better than having a light sitting on top of a screen. The adjustments make it easier to set the heat correctly.
