Managed to start my F-150 truck!
The A5 Car Jump Starter has already proven to be an invaluable tool, to help start my F-150 truck that has a dead battery. The 3000A peak current gave me confidence that it can handle my truckâs battery without any issues, and it did. I was particularly impressed with its ability to hold a charge; after its initial fast charge, I’ve also used it to help a neighbor and it still shows a full battery.The power bank feature is a lifesaver. On a recent camping trip, it kept my phone and my tablet charged up the whole weekend. The LED flashlight is surprisingly bright, and the different modes, especially the SOS and warning lights, are a great safety feature that I’m glad to have.While I haven’t had to test its waterproof or extreme temperature claims, the sturdy build quality gives me peace of mind that it will hold up when needed, and thus can be safely left in the truck while not used. The built-in compass is a simple but clever addition that I’ve actually used more than I expected. Overall, this is a reliable and versatile piece of equipment that I’d recommend to any driver.

Phenomenal portable jump starter
I have wanted one of these for a very long time, and finally came across one to review. I didn’t have any dead batteries for quite some time, so I waited on reviewing it. But then last week, my wife went to start her car and “whammo”, no turnover. Being right away in the morning before work, we had minimal time to get it rigged across from my truck, and I remembered that I had this sitting in my truck box. Threw it on the battery and within seconds the car fired right up. It gives me such a peace of mind to have it available for either my own vehicles or others without having to maneuver vehicles to get the cables close enough. The additional aspect of it having ports to charge anything and everything as well as a red/white flashlight makes it incredibly useful. The battery life appears to be great as well, it started a car and had almost full battery left, I haven’t even gotten it close to dead yet.Overall, it is a bit pricey, but comparable for most in this category. And it is made well, and feels like it should hold up for several years.

Need one for every vehicle!
The 2025 upgraded A5 jump starter is an absolute powerhouse. At 3000 amps, it had no problem starting my truck and my wifeâs! I feel confident it could handle just about anything I throw at it. Itâs compact, easy to use, and the instructions are straightforward, which makes it great to keep in my truck for peace of mind. I gave my old jump starter to my daughter since sheâs driving 45 minutes to and from college every day. I also appreciate the extra features like the flashlight and USB ports for charging devices, definitely handy in an emergency. For the price, the performance and versatility are excellent, but even better if you can get with the 50% off coupon. This is one of those tools I hope I wonât need often, but Iâm glad to have it ready when I do.

Compact and simple to operate
I was surprised by how lightweight this jump starter is, which is both a positive and somewhat a concern. It’s positive in that you can easily stow it in your glove box or center console on smaller vehicles with limited storage, which is the type of vehicle this would be better suited for. The concern is over what type of battery cells are in this jump pack, since similarly-rated packs are substantially heavier. That all said, you are getting a simple-to-use and well-featured jump pack that doesn’t sweat jumping 4- and 6-cylinder vehicles. The dual LED with multiple modes is handy, if not a touch novel, but the compass is definitely a novelty and really serves little purpose on this device. It is quite handy as a power bank for the car and I wanted to confirm the port ratings on the USB outputs, so put a tester on each for the outputs and input for the USB-C charging port. You do indeed get two 3A x 15W USB-A ports and the USB-C outputs at 2A x 15W. The USB-C input is 2A x 15W at 9V and is likely why the battery charges relatively quickly.I want to also mention that the jumper cables are of a different design that the usual ‘smart’ cables, with all the electrical circuit protections on the positive lead instead of being part of the connector. This adds versatility for maneuvering around an engine bay, but echoes the same concerns with the build quality of the product.Finally, there is a simple on/off button. I don’t feel that I need to go into this further.Overall, given the cursory concerns with the build of this jump starter and the flimsy first impression, it offers solid, straight-forward features with good performance that can stow away in your vehicle easily. I could recommend this at 4 stars with tempered expectations until it’s been field-tested further, particularly at the current asking price.

Keep this in your glovebox
This jumpstarter is small, sleek, lightweight, and powerful. I have had to use this multiple times on various cars so far and it has worked every single time. I even used it on a car that had been sitting with a dead battery for over a year and it started immediately with this hooked up to it. Its very easy to use, just hook up the positive and negative clamps to your positive and negative battery terminal, turn on the jumpstarter, and start your car. It also has a flashlight built in just in case you have to use it in the dark. The battery life is also very good, it has sat in my glove box for about 3 months before I had to use it and it still had a full charge.

A great option that works very well
small and lightweight, but works like a powerhouse. I love the flashing lights and you’re going to get a quick charge on whatever you need to use It for, charging speed is very good. It’s very compact and easy to use. And for what you get a good value for the money, everybody should have something like this in their trunk. I hope you do and if you’re in the market, which i’m pretty sure you are or you wouldn’t be reading this review, this is a very good option
