No hassle fence
Got this today. No manual to show how to put it together. But, the video is very easy to follow. The wood is VERY LIGHT. You will need a rubber mallet to tap the slates in. But not to hard!! It literally took me 20 minutes to put together. It took me longer to unwrap the materials. When they say 36 inches. Thatâs post to post. The slates themselves are 31.5 inches and the posts are 2 inches. So itâs a little snug around the unit. I put a drop of gorilla glue in the corners of the top slates. They come out easily. My fiancé loves the color. So winning!!! Iâm going to have to waterproof it. Overall, thinks a good purchase.

Not impressed
It wasnât very easy to put together as described. My husband can put anything together but he had some challenges to make it work. Also some pieces were missing. We are hoping it will less since itâs not treated wood.

Aesthetically pleasing and keeps the dogs wee away
Love it! Our ac unit is old as heck so the fence didnât fit seamlessly but I made it work! It looks great and was easy to assemble. I greased it with dawn soap so it was easier to slide the pieces in. I just used random pavers I had laying around to prop up the pieces.

Poor quality
I usually do a better job reading reviews, and I didn’t this time and wish I would have skipped it. Reviews are from Vine reviewers. It is wood as described; however, it feels like balsa wood. The dovetails make it seem better quality. Several of the slats are warped, which shouldn’t be a huge problem, but the one corner post has a severe bow in it, and I’m sure it will make it uneven on the ground and a pain to put together. You can also see in the picture the glued two pieces together on the bowed one but not the other posts. For the money, I should have gone with a plastic one.

Worked percect for what I needed.
Had to notch it out and cut a bit to make it fit. Which is why I wanted wood rather than plastic. Easier to work with. We’ll see how long it lasts. Worked out perfect.

look good, great price
It was late arriving, I”m sure Fedex lost it. There are no directions. You will need a rubber mallet as the spacers slide in but I had to hammer in every slat. I needed a 5th post for my application to hide my ugly septic equipt as I used 2 panels across the front and 1 down each side. I had a piece of treated 2×2 that worked just fine with a few screws. Overall, I am pleased with the product and was an affordable option compared to many other screens.
