I am pleased with the protection plan. I have used the plan when I had problems with a couple of other things I purchased in the past. Easy help to repair or replace the problem item. I feel that the protection plan for me is worth the price

Asurion may be a scam
My Asurion claim was handled so efficiently that I wrote a glowing review. That has all changed, as I am now unable to redeem the amount refunded via an amazon gift card. The contact phone number for Asurion is answered by someone of informing me I’m the random recipient of a $100 gift card, which will be sent to me once I provide my credit card information. When I refused to do so, I was informed I would not be provided access to the Asurion-approved claim gift card until I provided the credit card info. I hung up at the threat that if I call again, I will go through the same sequence – give up my credit card info or I cannot access the refund. Amazon assistance is not proving helpful, as Asurion seems to be an independent add on. As of this writing, I do not recommend Asurion coverage.

Absolutely great product protection plan and customer support.
Absolutely Shocked!!!! Bought this when i purchased a recliner on amazon and not knowing the quality of the product before we received it. Chair was good quality with exception of the handle you pull to recline. Cable finally snapped after 2 1/2 years of use. I had no access to the email the service protection plan was sent to. I called the number i found for Asurion and within a couple hours had an amazon refund for the value of the chair. It was by far the easiest process for a situation as this i was ever involved in. Amazing customer support. This was all down on the 4th of July, a US Holiday.

The chairs fell apart in a little over a year. What made it frostrating was Asurion Claim Review specialist failing to communicate on what forms are needed and if they had a mistake on them. They just close the claim. It took me three tries to finnally have the claim approved.

We had to return the chair, so we canceled the policy. It was a viable option to protect the chair from any unforeseen problems.
