Customer Review –
Great electric lawn trimmer
This is a really great lawn trimmer which I mainly use for my front lawn as it is small and quite separate from the rest of my yard where getting the big mower there would be annoying. This mower doesnât catch the grass so it all ends up on the ground but it doesnât make the lawn look bad. The mower is quite small and lightweight which is both a pro and con because it is easy to move around but it doesnât cut that large area in one pass. The mower is quite powerful and I went through medium size grass without a problem. The mower is really to easy use, charge, setup. You can easily adjust the cut height with a lever which works well. The mower is pretty quiet too, coming from strictly using gas mowers this one is a dream. This mower canât really be used like a weed whacker as the wheels prevent it from getting all the grass to an edge which is a bit of a letdown. Battery runtime was about 20 to 30 minutes, which is okay but could be better and is less than the expected advertised charge. Overall itâs a good mower but not perfect, I wish it came with a second battery.

Great little mower for a little lawn
Look, this mower is not for a football field. If you have a small, and I mean small, patch of grass to mow, then this mower is fantastic! I tested it out on a patch of grass in the front of my house and was initially concerned that it would not have the strength to get it cut. This concern was quickly proved to be unnecessary because the electric motor in this thing is very strong. I further tested it out in my main yard. While it was not the most efficient cut because of the size, I found that it worked very well, and the battery lasted the entire cut. I decided to let my 9-year-old daughter give it a shot, and she found that it was easy to push, so now I have a partner in cutting the grass. The mower’s height is adjustable, and it has a safety handle, which all works great. It is a good-looking unit, which I think is amazing for the price point it is sold at. Overall, this is a great mower for a very specific purpose, and so long as you use it for the purpose it was intended for, you will be very happy.

Simple. Lightweight. Flat surfaces only. Not for slopes. Fits Makita 18V
Itâs super lightweight, and I can easily carry it in one hand. Assembly is simple, with all connections clearly groove/keyed marked, so you really canât go wrong. The mower offers three adjustable cutting heights, although the adjustment isnât very easy. The best part? It uses a Makita 18V battery, so as long as you have one, you wonât need to worry about finding a compatible battery. While it cuts well, the trigger handle and control button arenât very convenient for one-handed use. I wish the button were a bit taller so I wouldnât have to hold it so tightly. It also has a built-in safety switch that automatically turns off the mower if the handle is pushed up beyond 75° or down below 15°, which means that when mowing on a slope or reaching under a ditch, it may stop unexpectedly.

Odd tool
I live in the woods so I don’t have a lawn per-se. In the past I have mowed maybe once or twice a year with a gas push mower. However, I do have a lot of trails and thorns that I wanted to tackle. This isn’t exactly the tool for that job.First off, the manufacturer’s packaging is not good. The handle is just floating around in the package with delicate wires bent at the joints. Mine was fine, but it would not surprise me if other got one that is DOA. I mean, there was a foam packet for something in the box, and I had tools and parts scattered throughout the box, so I can only assume they started out in that.Upon looking it over I wondered how in the world this would cut anything with a completely recessed blade. In practice it cut pretty much how you would expect a blade in a bowl to cut. Not well. If you are cutting tall plants this will just push them down and do nothing because it relies on the lift of the blades to suck the plants up. The 360° edge mashes your plants down no matter which way you go. On the plus side you can mow right over some pretty edge rocks and not hit the blade. Just make sure to stay away from any point vertices. The experience ends up being more like vacuuming than mowing. You have to push back and forth to help catch the plants to get them to bend up into the blades. Eventually you can get maybe a 90% cut. The result looks potentially a little better than if you tried to mow by hand with only a weed whacker.Where this excels compared to a string trimmer is cleanliness. Nothing gets shot toward you at 100 mph. I got hit by one tiny rock while using this when I would have been peppered by a trimmer.Battery life is surprisingly good. I chopped up my whole yard and the battery showed 3/4 bars. I was probably running it for 30 min. With an actual mower I would have only been out for 5 minutes though. The handle on this is god awful. It is not ergonomic at all. There are pinch points around the on/off lever which encompasses the whole inner side of the handle. There is a safety lockout you have to push in the middle of the top of the handle in order to pull the larger lever. Guess what? None of your fingers are anywhere near that if you grip this like a human being. It is also very finicky. You have to squeeze pretty hard to keep it on. I thought it was shutting off when it would tip or hit rough ground, but it turned out that those jostles were just enough the momentary break connection to the trigger. Additionally, the joints in the tubes rattled loose over the course of one use. Even when fully tight it is floppy and not confidence inspiring. Oddly, the pole is telescopic. I’m 6’2″ tall and found it was too long even at the lowest setting, but you can make it even more awkward for yourself. Cool.I have other Azzuno tools, so at least I got a bigger battery with this. I struggle to think of any situation where this is a better tool than other products out there.
