Nice and solid. Works great!
I really like this vise. For the price, you get a nice heavy, well-built vise that has a really nice double-clamping base for a nice, sturdy attachment to your workbench without having to drill the wood. Comes with both sets of hardware and was very easy to assemble. It swivels around easily and comes with rubber/plastic jaw covers for clamping more delicate items. If you’re looking for a big, solid vise without the heavy price tag, I definitely recommend this one.

Very heavy, and stout. Well made. Bigger than I thought itâd be for a small vise.
We got this for doing crafts. It is bigger than I had imagined, when compared to the small under clamp mounted vises. It is a heavy chunk of steal for sure. We are using the clamp mount and not permanently, mounting it to a bench or table, this means that we can use it temporarily or even intermittently when needed. The vise works and turns very easily. Seem very well made for most of our needs. Our main purpose is for making jewelry, having an extra hand to hold stuff. We use it as an anvil for hammering and shaping bits of wire and rings. Very pleased.

Very nice light duty bench vise
This a excellent light duty bench vise. Very well made. Ideal for a home workbench. The bench clamp is handy to use if you do not want drill mounting holes.

Sturdy and versatile vise for all types of work
I purchased this vise in order to work on an AR-15 without any dedicated workbench. The clamping feature was a must and it definitely held up to the task. I installed a free float handguard with no issue torquing anything down to spec. The vise is well put together, sturdy, has a solid feel to it, and is very versatile thanks to the clamping feature. The jaws are a decent size for the cost and this is a neat little vise for hobbyist work. The vise comes with rubber guards to protect from marring the workpiece which are magnetic and function alright. It also comes with a rubber cap for the clamp to avoid damaging whatever table you are using, this rubber cap is useless and falls apart after tightening the clamp down, just use a towel or a thicker rubber cap like those pucks used for car jacks.

Solid value and versatile vise setup
So far, so good! Really good overall package with option to mount with bolts, or with the bracket mount. The magnetic rubber pads work well for not marring and stayed on during some torque operations. Time will tell on durability, but for a mild to moderate use Vise, this is a solid package.

DIYer and have Belen getting by with clamps. Needed to do conduit work so decided to get a vice. When looking for an affordable one, ran across this 4 1/2 and read the reviews so decided to invest in a heavy duty one vs an itsy bitsy that may fail and me possibly get injured.I wasn’t disappointed. This a a beefy vice that was maybe slightly higher than the tiny ones. And it did well for my job, mounting on various surfaces. I’m a pinch, I even cut the conduit on a step ladder with this vice being heavy enough to secure the pipe fairly well.My only complaint is that the rotational lock doesn’t work all that well. When it’s mounted to an edge, and that lock tightened down, the cove still shimmys slightly. I think the nut they used under it isn’t all that great. Considering all the beefy mounting screws it has, that feels more like a design flaw than anything else. Still, I highly recommend this as an investment. It’s beefy, but small enough that I store it in the box still!
