Bosch PWB 600 Workbench: Quick to Set Up, Robust, Portable, Compact
The PWB 600 has a number of useful features. Click here for a larger image. The Bosch PWB 600 workbench has been developed to assist DIYers in countless projects. The workbench boasts a number of benefits for users – most importantly, the Bosch PWB 600 lets the user work safely. The clever clamping system firmly fixes work pieces measuring up to 525 mm in length on the workbench. Thanks to its stable aluminium construction, users can now work on a workbench with high precision.
Mobility
Thanks to the clever folding mechanism, the workbench is easy to set-up within five seconds. When the tool is folded, it is only 9 cm thick, which makes the Bosch workbench enormously compact and very easy to store. Furthermore, the frame is constructed out of aluminium, reducing the weight to just 11.6 kg. Thanks to its compact size when folded, the Bosch PWB 600 can be easily and conveniently transported.
Versatility
The Bosch workbench is a true multifunctional tool, as it will clamp various materials with depth up to 34 mm and a width up to 525 mm with clamping dogs. Due to its stable construction the tool is able to hold materials up to 200 kg in weight. For fixing work pieces, Bosch has developed two methods to ensure the high amount of precision when working. Firstly, the two bamboo worktops can be adjusted easily with the handles to fix work pieces of up to 85 mm in width. Hence, users can even fix round or irregular objects. Secondly, the PWB 600 includes four additional clamping dogs to support the clamping process. No matter whether the work piece is round, regular or bulky, the clever clamping mechanism allows the user to fix work pieces of any condition with a maximum clamping force of 1,500 Newtons. Furthermore, the enhanced clamping dogs even allow sanding on the work piece to the very edge thanks to the angle of the clamping dogs.
Robustness
The high-quality bamboo working surface guarantees long life and protects the surface from water and scratches. Thanks to the solid waterproof surface there will be no damage caused that will lead to uneven surfaces and the inability to fix the clamps properly.
Convenience
Bosch has equipped the PWB 600 with a handy storage compartment. It offers sufficient space to store small tools and accessories used for working on the project, such as screws, nails and sanding sheets.

The best folding work bench â¦difficult to find in the US
This is far superior to Black&Decker and others. Not sure why it is so difficult to find in the US. Amazon had a free shipping special for awhile so the price was around $200â¦If you have ever had to work with the B&D, itâs difficult to open and close, and itâs not that tall. The Bosch folds easily, the top is larger and the entire table is more rigid.

Awesome Addition To My Shop!
This is a sturdy, well made, mini MFT which serves me in more ways than expected. Was reluctant at first to buy with some bad reviews, the price and having to be shipped from overseas. But, I took the chance and BOSCH delivered!!! Do not hesitate to buy! It is awesome!

Solid
Far better than the B&D.Hard to find in the US but the free shipping (Prime) from Europe made it a no-brainer.

A bit delicate
I let it slip out of my hands while opening it, and it was damaged after falling onto a carpeted floor. (See pic.) The legs are very thin aluminum that fit onto flimsy plastic fittings with aluminum rivets. I muscled the broken plastic piece back into the leg, but I wouldn’t try it at anywhere near the rated weight anymore. Also, opening and especially closing it is kind of strange. I’ve had Workmates and I also have a Worx Pegasus, and they’re all easier to open and close than this. (I’m a Bosch fan and have many Bosch tools, btw.)
