The 60V 21 in. CAT Walk Behind Mower offers ultimate performance without the drawbacks of using gas like excess maintenance and starting issues. Can mow a 1/3 acre lot on one battery
Just some observations..-The sequence of squeezing the levers and pushing the buttons to get the mower to move and cut is maddening at first. Itâs second nature now and undoubtedly safer.-The battery takes a couple of hours to charge. I have two, and two chargers, plus the blower, saw, and trimmer. You only need two batteries across all tools unless you do this for a living and bare tools are available for a significant discount.-The self-propelled version can switch between batteries. The non-self propelled version has a storage slot for a spare battery.-Thereâs a headlight LOL!-The battery meter just says full until you start eating into the second battery. Thatâs not what I expected.-The single lever height adjustment is FANTASTIC! Iâve got a couple of places in my lawn that I cut extra short due to some high-quality turf, and itâs wonderful to easily pop the deck up & down. I literally used to use two mowers to save the time and headache.-The cut is super clean. Blade speed must be phenomenal. Speaking of the blade⦠itâs super light duty. This is not the blade for eating sticks, stumps, baseballs & rocks. If you bounce across the yard, buy something else.-The folding function is really easy to execute & handy for touching up the blade. I hit mine with a stone after every mow and so far have only had to hammer & file out one rolled spot where I hit something solid. You should probably get a second blade.-For homeowner use with a small lot, I like the blower, saw, & trimmer too. Battery changes are easy and Iâm looking forward to next year when I will -not- be changing -any- carburetors!

DO NOT BUY!!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTANT
I bought this product because I believed Cat was a good product and wanted to do my part for environment. My husband used the mower just a couple of times before the winter. When we brought it back out in the spring, the mower blades did not engage. Owner’s manual not helpful (all pictures) Took us forever to find a phone number to call for help. Was advised to send proof of purchase – supplied same day -5/14/2024- No acknowledgment and no further contact from company. I have called again, but their voice mail is full and not accepting anymore messages, tried to find extension for person we talked with – was told no such person in company phone directory. Sent 2 emails to the person – no response. If I could give zero stars I would – but I guess 1 star is good for the 2 times it did work. UPDATE- contacted the company (Chinese owed- should be a clue) thru the number supplied by Amazon – was referred to a local dealer that told me Amazon needed to take care of it or I needed to PAY a mower repair service to fix it – it should be under warranty because it is less than 1 year from purchase. DO NOT BUY!!!!!

The mower is quiet
Once I got use to the starting sequence, everything fell into line. Runs great and the 60vdc battery has a lot of power. Adjusting the height of the mower is a sap.

I WANT TO LOVE THIS MOWER
I love the simple design of this mower and I picked this CAT more for looks than great reviews. I have only used the mower 2 times. I can say it’s very sturdy and everything works as designed. I used the bag the first mowing and it did a great job of picking up the grass and the design of the bag keeps grass from dropping out when you remove it from the mower. The second mowing I let it mulch and I am just now realizing I should have selected mulch…opps. It mulched really well as I saw no clippings laying on the grass. I have now mowed 1/4 acre and the battery is 1/2 done so that works for me. As far as quality of the cut I feel it did an ok job. I have tried 3 electric mowers now and they simply do not cut as well as a gas mower. Maybe the EGO Power mowers do. The cut is not totally crisp. Will I keep the mower? I’m not sure yet though I know I want to. UPDATE…..I have now mowed my 1/4 acre yard 4 times…..3 times the front and once the back. So much rain fall I have not been able to get to the back. After all that I still have 3 out of 4 bars showing on the battery. I have never heard the engine rev up and wonder if it even has that feature in heavy grass. I like the mower….again the cut is good but not great. Will probably keep it because I like buying things that few others buy…..not a smart way to look at it but I like the under dog. FINAL UPDATE……I returned the mower today. I was sad because CAT made a great attempt at a cool mower. I bought a Greenworks 80v mower that was a hair cheaper but I just wanted to see if the cut would be better and it was…..not by much but I had to go with Greenworks. CAT…..improve the cut and I might be back.

Lightweight and Simple
I give this product 5 stars ð. I am Disabled with nerve damage in both arms and hands. With this beauty I no longer have to pull a rope to start my mower. Itâs also very lightweight and super simple to use. I love It and absolutely recommend this mower to anyone looking to purchase a battery powered mower.

My caterpillar lawn mower is a high quality lawn mower and it is amazing for the money I highly recommend anybody to purchase this if you want something that’s lightweight the battery has extreme longevity and it’s just a wonderful tool I love it

I was reluctant to buy this because it was not a main stream tool brand. It was on sale when I purchased it and I couldnât be happier. Automatically ramps the power up when you get into deeper grass. Mowed for 25 minutes and relatively tall grass check the battery still showing full bars. Itâs light and easy to maneuver. One handed operation, raise and lower deck. Great product so far.

The most expensive paper weight I have ever purchased. I bought it three months ago and the first sign of trouble was when I kept having to re-seat the battery to get it to work again. My yard is small, and flat and the mower was stored in my shed whenever it wasn’t in use. Recharged the battery precisely according to the instructions. Now, not only is the battery completely dead by the charger also does not work. The cost of replacing the battery and or charger are prohibitive. It’s going to the dump and I will never purchase an electric mower again. What an expensive lesson!
