Functional and barely noticeable!
We tried another popular chair leg floor protector, and were really frustrated. We followed the instructions to clean the bottom of the chair leg, and then stick the protector on the leg. While the adhesive was very sticky, as the chair(s) were moved/pulled out/pushed back the pads slid off, leaving a sticky residue on the floor.These protectors come in different sizes, and I went with the size that would fit the back legs of the chair (which are square). Although they are slightly large on the front round legs, all four protectors stay put. The chairs glide easily and there are no marks on the floor. They were reasonably easy to put on the chair legs

Perfect floor protectors and these things slide well and are silent. Yes, you can see the clear silicone at the base of the legs but it’s not very noticeable and definitely worth it. We bought an extra box just to have extras incase we need them elsewhere in the house.

First time trying these. I must say that putting them over my chairs legs was very easy, which was great. I love how my chairs now slide with ease. The only thing I am concerned about is replacing the slider part. Is there such a thing? Or do we have to replace the whole thing?

These are life-changing! No more dog and cat hair stuck to the bottom of every chair leg in the dining room. Save Your Hardwood Floors
I am very glad I found these chair leg floor protectors for hardwood floors. My dining room chairs are older, and the feet are not always smooth, which can be rough on hardwood. Just recieved them. Seems like the felt like bottom surface is rather thin. Time will tell if they wear well. Silicone looks ok.
