Strong last Long !
I purchased this cover in January of 2020, it just recently ripped. 5 1/2 years of use. I’m buying another.

Heavy duty!
I have had this cover for a few months and I LOVE it!It is heavy duty, waterproof and of great quality. It looks as nice (and of similar quality) as the original cover that came with my KitchenAid grill island.The four straps (two on each side) are a great touch! It makes removing/installing the cover securely a real breeze…fast & simple). This cover will NOT blow off in a strong wind. The cover even has a draw string along the bottom edge you can use if you wish to further secure the cover when in place. I don’t use this myself as the side straps secure the cover securely already.One ‘negative’ I have is that the plastic coating (or rubber…it’s hard to tell what the material is) that lines the underside of the cover is starting to wear prematurely in the four corners where the cover chafes against the four, rather pointed metal edges of my grill island.I have alleviated this by putting a small bit of duct tape on the four corners of my grill island so the cover won’t wear against them, and thus far this seems to be working just fine as the cover shows no new signs of wear in these areas.This isn’t an issue regarding THIS product alone BTW. My original cover failed due to one of these corners wearing thru the cover, so this is a common problem with most/all covers I’d imagine.It would’ve been a nice touch, however, to have the four interior corner areas of this cover stitched with a second layer of cloth over the lining to make them sturdier and more wear resistant…for a heavy duty cover, I’m surprised this wasn’t the case.Regardless, I still give this product a strong FIVE stars and would buy it again in a heartbeat!

Did not last through the summer!
Purchased in March of 2024. We really liked this when purchased. It fit well and seemed heavy duty. We liked the light color to help repel the sun rays. We have very hot summer in WAY Northern CA (NOT the Bay Area), and apparently the full sun deteriorated first the black tie tighteners, then the cover itself. We’ve taped it together numerous times with Gorilla Tape, but now (Nov. 2024), after some “winter” winds, it has tear holes everywhere. If you do decide to purchase this, we suggest grabbing some UV protective spray and hopefully that will help extend the life of it! Our BBQ is extra long and there are few covers out there that will work for us. Lasting only half a year was not our goal! 2 years of use would have been nice! We MAY try this product again with the spray if unable to find another cover to fit. Hope this will help you. I’m sure if there is partial shade, it will last longer.

Didn’t Last a YEAR!!
This product does not have a long life expectancy. While it looks durable and well made mine ripped within a year of purchase. It is only outside for 6 months and then I bag it for winter storage. Sad, we are not rough on our products either. This was far too expensive to last less than a year.

Great warranty to extend the life of this cover in tough Arizona sun.
This cover is thick material with waterproof treatment that felt top quality. The straps and draw string skirt did a great job keeping it in place during our gusty monsoon storms. It looked great and covered my Kitchen Aide BBQ island well.Unfortunately the Arizona sun demolished the fabric and straps. The straps, backing and fabric all failed within the first year. Unfortunately the cover, strapping, and draw strings all turned brittle and cracked under our record temperatures this year. I hope that in locations with less punishing sun, you would get much better durability from this product.I would’ve loved to give this product 5 stars. I won’t give them 1-star, because of the way they stand behind their product. Without having to speak to any customer service reps, I was able to their website provide photo’s of the product failures, and be sent a new replacement under their warranty. I know the sun here can be brutal, and I was hoping that this cover would tolerate it (I’ve yet to find a cover that survives here). I give them 4 stars for the great customer service portal and policy. I love that they are extending the life of this cover through a warranty replacement.

Well made, fits snugly, and lasts longer than most other covers
I purchased this same 86″ cover originally in 2020 for my Napoleon grill unit with the offset grill head. It fit better than any other covers I had in the past and I got nearly 3 years before a small rip occurred. I limped it along to 3.5 years and now replacing with this same model cover. They have a new upgraded cover material that I would purchase if I could, but it does not seem to have the “offset-grill” option that would fit my grill/island unit. If my grill head was centered in the island, I would try the upgraded material version of this cover. Still a good value for a superior cover!

almost better than original cover
I am thrilled with the quality and the fit of this cover. I had so much trouble finding an OEM cover that I finally gave up and looked for one that was approximately the same dimensions. It fit like a glove! The only negative is that there is no mesh or other venting options, so time will tell if there is a problem with moisture being able to dry.

Have purchased 2 of these bbq covers. Each of them lasted 1 full season. We are in Canada and tarp the bbq island over the winter. Both covers were stored inside for the winter. Both covers were garbage after a year. Material looks good but breaks down and tears apart.

It will not be the least expensive you ever buy but I have gone through so many covers in the past because they were cheaply made. This cover tolerates the sun and wind and rain – exactly what I was searching for and will (hopefully) be the last one I purchase.
