The grill is easy to use and assemble, heats quickly, and functions well, with one customer noting it cooks like a big grill. While some customers find it well-constructed, others describe it as cheaply made, and while it heats adequately for burgers and hot dogs, some report it barely gets hot enough to cook. The cleaning process receives mixed feedback, with some finding it easier to clean while others find it difficult.

    Great little grill!
I have never purchased a “used” item from Amazon but did so with this grill based on another review. It presented as brand new – I don’t think the box had even been opened! This is a great little grill! I did watch a video on how to set up and fold down the legs, but the explanation is spot on in the printed directions. I set it up, added a small propane bottle and used it immediately. The cook surface is small compared to a regular grill, but perfect for me alone. My food was great and the clean up was a breeze! I washed the grate in my sink and wiped out the inside of the grill with a dishcloth. This grill is perfect for an apartment deck and folds down easily for storage. I am happy with this purchase and definitely recommend this grill for anyone with limited space.

Good as a portable grill, not an at home replacement
So I have used this twice with mixed results. The first was for a birthday in the park, cooked about 50 hamburgers and 50 hotdogs nonstop over about 2 hours. For that time it worked amazing, had it on high the whole time and never stopped cooking. I used about a half of a 1 lb propane tank. The second time was at home and I just wanted to heat it up to clean it up from the day before. This time the temp control was out of control, left it on high for about 5 minutes and it melted the plastic lock off and most of the paint off the outside of the lid. The only difference was the grill was fighting a breeze at the park and at home it was sheltered from the wind. Also in the 5 mins it used a 1/4 of a tank vs the 1/2 tank over 2 hours. This will be great as a campsite grill but I would avoid using it as an apartment or single person’s home grill. I really like it’s size and portability but it could be heavy to lug very far, about 17lbs. The grill top can fit 6-8 frozen hamburger patties at a time or probably about 24-30 hotdogs. Come to think about it the overheating the second time was probably because it was left empty on high vs full of food. So all in all it works pretty good I was able to feed a small army off of it and fairly efficiently. Just wouldn’t be my choice for a primary at home grill.

    Good grill for small use
This is a great grill for a single person, or even a medium family. Good size grill, heats up very quickly, but only wish that it used a standard large propane tank. Those little ones are very expensive. Also wish it had a drip pan, not the little Teeny tray that you slide out. Little more work to clean every time, but at least the grill itself is nonstick. Would definitely recommend it. Especially good for camping and portable trips.

Stay away from this legs are BAD!!!
Please stay away from this grill!!!!! I was so excited to get this grill so we could take it camping with us. We carefully unboxed it, opened the directions and put the feet on exactly as it told us too. Next we extended the legs to the first point and that’s went things went from bad to worse. We pushed the button to extend the legs further and neither side would work. We pushed the buttons again and slightly pulled on the feet and the legs came flying out of the entire grill. It looks like the plastic stop caps have tabs but they were broken off. We tapped them back in even though they won’t keep the legs from falling out of the bottom. Now we’ve finally have both legs extended and stand it up. We haven’t used it yet but I don’t think it will work well if it’s windy outside. The legs are very wobbly and I wouldn’t trust walking even a little ways away from it for fear of it tipping over and starting a fire. I regret buying this and I haven’t even used it. I’ll go to a box store next time to see what I’m buying.

    Great little grill
After reading the conflicting reviews on this grill I decided to give it a try. I buy numerous items on Amazon and usually dont take the time to review them because I haven’t had any problems and dont take the time for positive reviews. However after reading about the supposed fake reviews on this grill I am taking the time to review it. I was looking for a small, inexpensive portable grill to use on the sandbar with my wife and 3 kids when we take the boat out. This grill looked ideal as the legs can be extended to set it up in shallow water or shore without hauling an additional table. The grill arrived and the legs went on in under 5 minutes. I threw on a 2 year old propane bottle that was maybe 1/4 full. I burned off the new crud for 5 minutes and threw on several burgers and hot dogs to give it a try. The burgers were completely frozen. I left the grill on medium high and did the burgers 6 minutes a side. They were very well done and probably on the grill for too long. This is a small grill and 5 hamburgers and a couple hot dogs fill it up. the grill got very hot very quick and I had zero problems lighting it. Time will tell how it stands up to shore use but for a cheap very portable grill to throw some burgers, brats etc I believe its an excellent buy. As the one reviewer said its no 3 burner Weber but I think it will work great for the occassional use of camping, tailgating etc.UPDATE!! After using this grill on the sandbar all summer I still give it 5 stars. The grill lit easily every time, the legs dropped down and worked great in the shallow water without any issues. The grill will flare up if your cooking some really greasy burgers but with abundant water nearby I simply used the kids squirt gun to douse the flame. Grill cleaned up easily at the end of the season and I look forward to using it again next year. Having hot food after a day on the boat made our outings that much better.

I bought this as a damaged box unit and I have had really good luck in the past with the damaged box items, this was in new condition but for someone had used it prior to returning it and didn’t clean it so had a bit of a task cleaning the slobs fish pieces off the burner grate and sides but when i did behold just like a brand new unit worked first try and heats great, well worth the discount price I paid, about 1/2 price so just love it as it’s just the right size for two of us here.

Overall, I’m utterly happy with this grill for its portability, telescopic stand, cooking quality and easy cleanning. The only reason I’m taking one star away is that feet lock mechanism is a permanent failure when it comes to extending the legs. Sometimes it takes way too long to set it up. And second issue is the ignition – it normally doesn’t ignite from the first attempt.Update: be very careful when using the grill cleaning spray. If you get it on the painted cover, it causes discoloration or total removal of the paint in spots where cleaning solution remained longer than few minutes.
