the big boy of chairs
ive been through 3 chairs, trying to find a good solid chair that would withstand abuse. I’m not a small lady but am no where near the weight limit, but i like my chairs to have a good degree of height, be sturdy enough to survive kneeling, sitting, and laying back in the chair. The chair was pretty simple to put together, however, I did change out the gas cylinder to one that goes about 4″ higher, and switched out the wheels to some sporty yellow ones. The seat of the chair is very heavy, so don’t do like me and drop it on your foot. it’s been 2 weeks and my foot is still hurting. LOLThe cushion thickenss of the chair is very nice, and the seat itslef is very wide, body of the chair is sturdy and strong, and rolls very smoothly (but like I said, I used different wheels.) It is a sleek looking chair and i would highly recommend it.

Most Comfortable Chair Ever Purchased.
This chair is so well made from the metal frame to the chair backing and cushion. We have polyurethane wheels(The Clear Wheels Used on Roller Blades) that we installed instead of the wheels it came with because it makes a Huge difference rolling over our tile floors. The seat height is adjustable. The arm rests are adjustable. Both raise and lower. What I love about this is the cushion being so wide and long and it is one of the most comfortable chairs I have owned. This is a very sturdy chair along with the metal wheel base-no worrying like the plastic bases cracking. The back support is incredible,it was on sale when it was purchased. This is a highly recommended chair to purchase if you are looking for a durable, affordable chair.I would buy again.

Good, sturdy chair with flaws on the arms.
I needed a heavy duty chair to replace my old desk chair that after two years finally gave out. This seemed to meet all the bars including held more weight (as I’m a heavy person and WFH, I needed something that will hold up to daily use).Almost everything about this chair is checking the positive boxes so far:*Shipping on this was extremely fast. Bought on 5/22, and it was here two days later-a full four daysbefore expected arrival date and on a holiday weekend no less.*They are not kidding when they say “heavy duty”. The bottom pieces are (leg support and hydraulic system) are solid metal and heavy. The wheels, while plastic, look like they are more robust and sturdy than any I’ve had on a chair before, however, I did not use the supplied wheels as I’ve had issues with those wearing out before.*It went together pretty easily. I did need a second pair of hands connecting the back to the bottom due to how heavy it was. Still took maybe 30 mins to assemble the entire thing, so not bad.*The fact the arm rests move is great with the exception of one major flaw and the only reason I’m giving this 4 stars at the moment-the top part that swivels has no locking feature. You can adjust them up and down, however, the arm rest themselves, don’t lock into any specific position. I have pretty bad arthritis/carpal tunnel issues in both wrists so its important that if there are arms, they are stable. Unfortunately, this is not the case here. I’ve had issues twice now using it to stable myself when sitting down and instead of being able to sit safely, with the arms rests moving all around, my wrists buckle and the chair moves out from under me. I may have to take the arms off due to this (so if there is a locking feature to the arm pads themselves and I’m just missing it-please someone enlighten me).

Comfort
So comfortable to work at home all day. Perfect size, super soft cushion, everything adjust perfectly to me. I am only 5 foot 4 and I can make the height fit me. Very sturdy and will last a long time.Great value and looks amazing in my home office.

Comfy Chair
This is a fantastic chair! The cushion is comfortable and wide enough, even for bigger hips to fit comfortably.

Most disappointing chair
This chair is sold as a heavy duty chair for huge people, but what you get is a cheap chair with a few gimmicks to make it “seem” heavy duty. The chair is big and wide, but the seat is thinner than claimed, about 3.5″ thick.I have been using a chair for 4 years, and for the last couple years of that, the seat cushioning has been totally flattened, and I can feel the bumps and everything underneath the cushion. It was terrible, but I suffered through. It finally got to be too much, so I got this new chair expecting the enjoy the comfort I used to enjoy before my old chair got worn out…. The first time I sat on this new chair, I can already feel the bumps underneath the cushion. I weigh half of what this chair claims to handle. This chair actually totally sucks, no joke. I don’t understand how it could receive a high rating, and I feel misled. The build quality is questionable. They use comically thick slabs of steel at the bottom of the arm rests, and for the angled bracket that attaches the back to the seat. VERY thick steel….. for no good reason other than to make it appear that the chair is well built. Then you look at the mechanism that bolts onto the bottom of the seat that sits on the hydraulic lift cylinder….. thin, cheap, and about what you would find on a $50 chair from Walmart. Then that thick back bracket bolts down right on top of the main mechanism, completely overlapping it, and making it uneven. Very strange “design”. When I was bolting on the back bracket to the seat, I could hear crackling noises, like the brass insert on the seat plank was breaking loose as I was tightening it…. and I just used the included T-wrench, can’t exactly torque a bolt very hard with that. When I first sat in the chair and leaned back, I heard that same cracking noise. I am not feeling confident in this chair, and the fact that it isn’t comfortable and that I can feel the bumps underneath the cushion (right in the middle at the back of the seat, its horrible) I can say with absolute confidence that this is NOT a good chair, it IS poorly designed, and I don’t think it is going to last, which will probably be a relief when it breaks, because I’ll have a chance to sift through a thousand other pieces of crap to try to find another chair that might be decent-ish, maybe. What a joy…. I regret my purchase fully.Other reviewers must have been previously sitting on a metal folding chair.
