Customers say
Customers find these wrenches to be of good quality and value for money, with a sturdy build and smooth ratcheting action. They appreciate the flex head design, with one customer noting it bends at just the right angles. The functionality is positive, with one mentioning they work well in hard-to-reach situations. Durability receives mixed feedback – while some find them durable, others report them breaking after minimal use. Time Savers On A Budget
Flex-head ratcheting wrenches are a very nice luxury for all sorts of mechanical and construction tasks, but complete sets that don’t have a lot of skipped sizes are generally quite expensive. This set has no skips from 5/16″ up to 1″ in 16th of an inch increments, and also includes an 11/32″ wrench. The overall quality is good (probably more like excellent considering price point), and the ratcheting ends are not too bulky. The flex heads are pinned with torx fasteners and can be tightened if they loosen up over time. Ratcheting gears are all smooth and I have had no back drag issues. The included roll holds them well, I will say that the wrench set is rather bulky when rolled up and won’t fit in a typical toolbox drawer. I have purchased a number of wrench sets, ratchets, and other automotive tools from Duratech and have been impressed with their quality, particularly for the price.

Not enough time to really review.
Ok. So I just got both the MM and the SAE sets of these Duratech ratcheting wrenches, and while I have only used 1 or 2 for a brief amount of time, and they performed admirably, only time will tell if they are actually well made and durable. I’m not a professional mechanic. These tools are not going to be the difference between me eating and paying my bills, and not being able to. I’m a DIY guy who wanted some ratcheting wrenches for doing stuff on my personal vehicle, and around the house tasks, and that’s the metric by which I’ll be judging them. Too many people act like everything you buy, regardless of price, should be made to last long enough to hand down to your grandchildren. Maybe these will survive generations, maybe not. I just need them to survive my individual ownership. For the price, they are weighty, have a good feel to the ratcheting mechanism, and most swivel with ease. A few wrenches have a tighter swivel, but nothing terrible. I put a drop of oil on each swivel joint and worked them a little, back and forth, to get them as free as possible. I think that counts as basic tool prep for the home user. I’d buy them again, at this point. Sorry if I wasn’t super helpful, but the product arrived as described and seems to work as described. Not much else to talk about.

Good wrenches
Good wrenches overall but a little concerned with the material I thought I saw a little bit of Flex

Low expectations, flawless execution (so far)
I work in commercial construction and needed some new speed wrenches. I bought this set specifically because it contained the 15/16. That wrench by itself typically costs over half of this set. Because this set was inexpensive, I had low expectations.Iâve been using the wrenches for over a week and have no complaints/issues thus far. Iâve primarily used four wrenches (7/16, 1/2, 9/16, & 15/16). I crank on these pretty hard and nothing has broken. Iâve also dropped them a few times while working in a lift. Falls as high as 15ft to concrete floor. Lots of intentional drops into the metal floor of the lift as well. Still no problems.Itâs only been a week+ so only time will tell how they hold up over the long haul.UPDATE⦠been using these for almost two months. Still working great, no complaints. Only one issue experienced and itâs minor. On one of the wrenches, the bolt holding on the pivoting head slowly backs out. Iâve had to retighten it a couple times. Will put a drop of thread locker on it to stop the issue.UPDATE #2⦠After about 9 months of heavy use, two of the smaller wrenches broke. The tiny bolt that holds the swivel head on snapped. The larger wrenches are still working great.

First impressions
Bought these flex head ratcheting wrenches to compliment my SO ratcheting box end wrenches. There are times when a fixed angle or a straight wrench just won’t work. Having the flex head can assist in removing or installing that bolt or nut. They feel good in the hand and well built for the money. The backdrag on the ratcheting head is much better than the old SO box wrenches which have a very coarse gear. These are very smooth. I would not use the ratcheting end to break a bolt loose, but you really should not do that with any ratcheting mechanism. I know most of the time it is is not practical to use a breaker bar to loosen and then change to the ratcheting mechanism but if you want to protect your tools and not have to deal with warranty issues, lost time, and frustration I find it is worth it. Time will tell if these hold up but first impressions you get a lot for a little money.
