A Great Investment. Happy I Have It. Plan To Get Another.
I wish I had not waited so long. I originally purchased this unit for off-grid amateur radio operations. It works very well for that purpose. But recent storm related outages allowed this unit to really demonstrate its capabilities. The unit paid for itself when it kept my fridge and freezer running during a recent outage. This unit is reasonably light, very portable, can handle a variety of tasks (charging cell phones, computers, running coffee makers, fridges, and freezers, and even driving my tankless water heater. The first day I recharged it using my gasoline generator. It recharged quickly. The next day I was able to deploy the solar panels (the panels can recharge the system in a couple of hours in very good conditions). At one point, the panels were actually recharging the unit while powering a fridge. Impressive. I love that charge-through capability. I wish the cables for the solar panel connections were longer. And I wish an anchoring system for the solar panels was provided (the light panels are great, but are very unstable in windy conditions). While I still have and use gasoline generators, this is my go-to generator for all kinds of projects. I’m pleased I purchased it and am planning to buy another one this year.

Works great, great customer service!
The EcoFlow bundle I got was the Delta2 with two solar panels. One of the solar panels came cracked. I reached out to EcoFlow and they quickly helped me get it replaced so I didn’t have to return the whole bundle. I took them camping recently and even with mixed sunny/cloudy conditions, I was able to charge up the Delta2 in a matter of hours. Very happy with this. In fact I never really considered have additional batteries for this, but with how fast it charged with sunshine, I am not considering getting an additional batter bank to connect with this.As a side note, you will likely need to buy additional cables to connect both solar panels to the Delta2. I wanted the Delta2 in the shade while the solar panels were in the sun. The cables that come with it would make connecting two panels VERY tough unless everything was really close to each other. Getting a cable extender or two helps out dramatically. Also, to meet the product guidelines, make sure and wire the two solar panels in series.

I sent this solar generator to my family in Cuba and it has been a blessing! It works perfectly, charges fast, and provides enough power for essential devices during blackouts. The solar panel is efficient and easy to set up. It gives peace of mind knowing they have electricity when needed. Highly recommended for anyone who needs clean, portable energy!

Works now butâ¦
Initially after receiving the item it charged flawlessly and the USB port side worked great. The only problem I had was with the AC plug in power button. I tried several presses and long presses but could not get the button to light up. I posted a negative review and the maker contacted me to resolve the issue. I went back to the unit and FINALLY got the AC power button to come on by pressing it about 5 times in a row. It seems to works as advertised now but the button has been my only issue. I still have to push it multiple times to get it to turn on. It seems to shut off after one or two pushes. I would give the product 5 stars if it were not for the AC power button issue. Kudos to the seller for attempting to resolve the issue on their own.

Works well
Have had this set up for a while now. Often use in my shed with no electricity ran to it. I am able to run lights and charge tool batteries, phones, and whatever else I need and it usually gets back up to a full charge within a day or so. The only issue I have had with that arrangement is that it can get too cold in the winter, so one might need to ensure the unit is kept above freezing for optimal performance.

NEVER WORKED !!!
I purchased this and had it plugged into a normal wall outlet. First attempt at using it, (after 30 days) would not charge anything and would not stay on when unplugged. TRASH. So, I downloaded the app, spent 2 days with EcoFLow Tech support trying to get the firmware to “remote update,” which required me to get the delta 2 on a network with my phone to push the update manually, and after this, it still did not work. Soo, reached out to Ecoflow support a 3rd time, was told after 30 days, they can’t give a full refund because of ‘depreciation’ and I would be responsible for shipping costs. They offered a repair, which wasn’t guaranteed, and if it failed, they would replace it with a refurbished one. And they offered just swapping for a refurbished one also. I have phots of the serial no.. screen shot from their customer service live chat as proof of this, and pending an email for prepaid return shipping at this time. We’ll see if they can repair it and send it back, or compensate more appropriately. My thought is, if they can see the device online and push firmware updates to it, they should be able to see its up-time also, and can verify that the delta 2 was not even used, and that it didn’t ‘depreciate’ by sitting on tile charging before discovering it was just draining power for no reason. I’ll update this post if anything changes, purchased Nov 2024, reviewed May 2025.
