Terrific door handle
Our door handle wasn’t tightening up at the bottom end. I contacted the Elemake customer service and Shirley went above and beyond to resolve the problem. It turns out that a misalignment with our door handle opening kept the screw from getting into the place for proper tightening. I used a flashlight to make this discovery. After I did that I was able to put the tightening screw right into the slot and our door handle lock is now on 100% securely! This door lock is EXCELLENT especially compared to a much more expensive one that we replaced. Not only will you LOVE this door handle but be assured that you will get the BEST customer service if you do have any issues. I can’t recommend this door handle and company enough!!! OUTSTANDING in every way!!!!

VERY WELL MADE FORMAL DOOR HANDLE. FINISH IS EXCELLENT AS WELL, APPEARS ALMOST ANODIZED.! INSTALLATION IS VERY EASY, YOU ONLY NEED A SCREWDRIVER (OR TWO) PHILLIPS HEAD SHOULD DO. THE LATCH THROW IS TWO POSITION ADJUSTABLE… EXCELLENT !

Poor Quality Caused Door to Remain Stuck Closed
Update: At the very least, the seller was professional, kind, and offered to refund my purchase even though it was beyond the refund period.*DO NOT BUY!* Something in the mechanism broke and now our door got stuck closed. It actually took a lot of force to get all the pieces out of the door in order to remove it and get the door to open. Looks like a poor design too as what turns (the spindle) to recede the latch bolt isn’t like other, more robust designs. I don’t recommended this product as it seems to be a reoccurring thing based on the other 1-star reviews. Now it’s too late to get a refund. Total waste of money. *STAY AWAY!*

This was priced right, and so I gave it a try. I tried others cheap one as well but they all had quality control issues. This one seems to be quite well made and seems to be working very well. Installation was super easy. As far as durability only time will tell. If it gives issues then I will update my review.

The latch on my old doorknob on the door from the house into the garage had seized up — sometimes when I turned the knob, it would not recede into the door — so the door would be stuck as if it was locked. I did not need new deadbolt locks, so I bought this handleset and knob as a replacement. Since the door was already bored previously, I didn’t have to create any holes. Just removed the old hardware and put this new hardware in. The printed instructions are confusing, but the install video you see on this sales page makes it all so simple (if you’re not drilling holes in a new door). From the video, I was able to install it so easily I didn’t even bother with the printed instructions. It feels solid. I like particularly how the bottom screw on the outdoor-siide handleset is adjustable up and down, depending on where your bottom hole already is in your door. I just had to pull down the cylinder to where the bottom hole already was, and stick in the cylinder. Very easy. I can’t speak to its durability yet, as I’ve just installed it. But it feels solid. I’m going to buy another one of these for the exterior door to my deck.

This was the third door hand I tried to install. It was easy and works beautifully. Price was right. Love it.
