Easy install
Had a little bit of trouble with the instal instructions as I have a very old 2 wire thermostat, once I understood that the C wire was a ground for the 24v I knew how to make it work. Had to run a new wire from the furnace with at least 3 wires (no air conditioner, heat only) hooked up and works great.

Love my energizer themostat.
I bought the energizer thermostat to replace one that only ran on 2.4 g. I had upgraded my internet and my old one no longer worked on my wifi. The instalation was very simple and straight forward. I’m a 72 yo female and didn’t have any problems at all. It easily connected to my 5g wifi. One bonus is for some reason, I’m not sure why, my ventilation system is much quieter with my energizer thermostat. There has been no reduction in air flow.

Did not Work! Requires 2Ghz only network.
This thermostat didn’t work on my network and I believe it’s because my network is hybrid 2Ghz/5Ghz. It would not connect. It requires 2Ghz only.

I went through 2 high end name brand thermostats and the Energizer brand shocked me! My Last thermostat was still working however; I felt it was time for an upgrade. The energizer brand is very much Aesthetically pleasing and the touch screen is flawless! The manual turn dial makes it easy for the family (quick adjustments) and the nightlight is a wonderful bonus! There is nothing I dislike about this purchase and would buy it again if it were to stop working. Great Job Energizer!
