Assembly required, not easy
When I opened the box and saw that assembly was required, I thought, âOkay this looks easy.â Wrong. It comes in two halves, and the first step is to slide the pin on one half into the tube on the other half. It was not lined up or sized exactly right so it was very hard to get in. At first I didnât think it was even going to work, but with a lot of pushing and twisting and the coating peeling off the pin, I finally managed to get it in. But even all the way in, the edges still do not line up properly. See close up pic, which also shows a chip in the coating that happened just from handling it a little.The base wasnât easy to line up either. You have to get the four screw ends in the holes in the base, and they are not evenly spaced so you have to make sure you have it the right way around to line them up properly. But I was able to get it.It looks nice, itâs reasonably sturdy, and nobodyâs going to notice the uneven side or the chip in the coating unless theyâre looking closely. I have three generic mega rolls in there, possibly smaller than other mega rolls but with plenty of room to spare. So itâs perfectly functional and looks much better than my previous solution of having the pack of toilet paper sitting on the floor! Listed at $22.99 at the time of purchase, but I think thatâs too high for the quality level. Iâd consider this a reasonable value at more like $15, and keep your fingers crossed that it goes together more smoothly than mine did.

Very nice, but a little assembly issue
I wanted a “non-cutesy” toilet paper holder to free up space under my bathroom sink. This one just happened to match the towel racks in my bathroom so I was excited. It came disassembled, which I thought was a bit strange, given it’s pretty small anyway, but no biggie – I don’t mind some simple assembly and there were only 3 pieces (2 sides and a base) with 4 screw on decorative metal feet. But that’s where a star comes off. The top has 2 pieces that you have to link together, before fitting them into the base. I didn’t get a picture of the “link” piece, but it was a metal peg that was too close to the metal piece next to it, and you had to to slide it onto the hole in the other half of the holder. I had to take a flathead screwdriver and pry the metal peg away from the metal piece next to it to give me enough room to fit the peg into the hole in the older side. And even then, I still had to bang them together with the handle of my screwdriver to get them locked into place. The rest of the assembly was simple and I do like the finished piece – it’s matte black metal. My rolls of tp are pretty large, and they fit in there no problem. Overall, this is a great piece, just not made carefully enough for a simple assembly.

Very clean looking toilet paper holder
Very easy to install. Just lock the cage together then attach the four feet that secure the bottom plate to the cage. Took me like 5 minutes to install. Itâd a very clean looking toilet paper holder. What more can I say? Highly recommend if it fits your bathroom aesthetic

Poor Design. Pieces Don’t Fit Together.
The design of this toilet paper holder is flawed. In the instructions, the first step requires inserting a pin into a hole to connect the two large parts. However, the pin is too large and positioned too close to the part, making it impossible to connect the two pieces as shown in the instructions. Overall, this item is not functional and is useless, and should receive a 0-star rating. The picture shows how it wouldn’t go together even after applying pressure multiple times.
