Customers find the robotic vacuum works well on hardwood floors and does a great job cleaning, particularly at picking up dust. They appreciate its suction power with different settings, surprising quiet operation, and consider it good value for money. The device is easy to use with an easy-to-navigate app, though opinions about the mapping feature are mixed, with some finding it nice while others consider it utterly useless. Exceptional price for self cleaning. Reliable and consistent performance
I first bought the 11S Max. Was terrible experience. It banged into everything! Couldn’t follow a wall. Maybe a bad unit. Eufy has good reputation so proceeded on my search. Then decided on self emptying. It is a game changer! The C10 is a newer model and so incredible. It talks to inform you of cleaning, finishing, emptying/ self cleaning and charging cycles so you know exactly what it is doing. If you need to locate it, it literally plays a musical melody. The rotating brush literally is on an arm that will extend from unit to get corners and spaces while cleaning and under furniture. Most robots have fixed brushes. (The brush fell off the 11S Max!). The C10 rarely bumps into anything. It’s initial mapping still seems to be spot on for thorough cleaning. It gets into/under the tightest spaces but it always seems to find it’s way back out. It’s only got stuck once. You can pick different power cleaning modes and I chose standard. It is plenty and keeps the noise level down. I have plank flooring and area rugs and the ‘boost’ feature seems to be plenty for robot to climb onto rugs. I’ve opened the dust bin and filtet to check (curious) and this self cleaning mode works! In the brief attempt to use the 11S Max, I had to manually dump dustbin and clean filter. The Eufy does capture a lot, even the fine dust. I keep a clean house but was amazed at the fine dust this captured. My cat’s eyes showed great improvement just within 1 week! She has extreme allergies. So if you’re on the fence about the C10 being worth $100 more, it is. The C10 will alert when dustbag needs replacing. I’ve since learned other self emptying robots make you have to manually check a dustbag?! That leads to unnecessary exposure of dust to remove a bag to check how full. Defeats the whole purpose of self-contained dust collection! For those with allergies I’m sure I don’t need to explain how significant this C10 feature is! The C10 is exceptional for the price point. Amazon has the best price. I’ve never owned a Robot vacuum before. Researched brands and affordable price points. I was hesitant at first to spend another $100 over the S11 Max and other similarly-priced robot vacuums but it was the best decision ever.

It âsucksâ in a good way!
Day 4 update- map your whole house the first time! I tried to add to the map rooms I had closed off after the initial mapping, ended up having to redo the whole map. Minor setback in my opinion though. Still worth it!Day 2 of owning the Eufy c10, I plan to update as needed.Wow! Let me start off by saying I had low expectations. My first robot vac was a Neato back in 2019. The Eufy is leaps and bounds better, beyond my expectations for a machine under $300.Setting up WiFi and the app was a breaze. The Eufy mapped my house with ease and it didn’t take long at all. First clean cycle ran for a little over an hour and a half (with 2 rooms closed off). It self emptied 3 times and picked up everything in its path. It didnât get stuck a single time and even rolled over a sock that it just moved to the side and a dog toy that it didnât suck up.It tries really hard to stick to a pattern and does a pretty good jobThe mapping is my favorite part. It works exactly as advertised. I love that I can tell it to clean one room or one area only and itâs not aimlessly wandering around the house. It does bump into some things but I donât find it overly aggressive like my neato was.Overall right now, I would recommend and buy again. Iâll update my review if anything changes.

Good basic robot vac for fur patrol.
My first robot vac. I did comparison testing of this C10 along with the Roborock Q8+ which vacuums and has a stationary mop pad, but I was not using the mop pad feature. I chose to try the Q8+ because of the obstacle avoidance.I have 2 short hair med/large dogs, 1 of which is part Husky and sheds a lot. That’s my primary reason for getting a robot vac. I also have medium length hair. The Roborock was nice, but the obstacle avoidance caused it to NOT pick up clumps of dog fur as it thought it was an obstacle. Defeats the purpose of picking up pet hair so I ended up returning it after comparing it to the C10.The C10 doesn’t have obstacle avoidance and must rely on the front bumper/sensor so it “drives by braille” quite a bit. It WILL however pick up all clumps of dog fur (along with anything else short or thin that you leave out on the floor like socks, cords, shoelaces, etc.). Anything that isn’t tall or wide enough for the front sensor to detect is going to get run over/sucked into the vacuum. If you tend to leave random items on the floor, this vac is not for you.I had to map my house twice because it completely missed my entryway for some reason. Like Roborock’s app, you cannot remap just one room/area of the house. The entire home has to be done in one run. It got everything the 2nd time though. I use an Android phone and the app is NOT Google verified. I don’t put labels on my map of what the rooms are, but it makes me wonder how many robot vacs are out there where these companies now have floorplans/locations of all our homes. The suction is decent and picks up the loose dog fur just fine from hard flooring and low pile rugs. It’s also quieter because of the lower suction level, but you’ll eventually need to vacuum rugs with a regular upright for a thorough cleaning. My hair and anything stringy will build up at the ends of the roller brush. The instructions don’t tell you how to take the rollers off the ends of the brush to easily pluck the coils of wrapped hair out, but just grab the roller and give it a little twist to remove it, then do the reverse to put it back.Customer service responds fairly quickly for questions/issues, but like a lot of companies, they are responding from China. Therefore, the grammar may be a bit difficult to understand or they may not respond until the middle of the night for the USA.Overall, if you have pets, want a basic vacuum-only model and are good about not leaving clutter lying around, I think you’ll be happy with this vacuum. I just purchased another one to give as a gift.

When our first vacuum stopped working after one year (generic brand) we were looking for a new one. We purchased one from a competitor brand and we returned that one almost immediately as it just didnât work correctly. We decided to give this one to try and put out a little bit more money out as this one seemed to have checked all the boxes for what we needed to do.Had a low profile of under 3 inchesCleaned and a zigzag patternHad LiDAR scanning and mapping capabilitiesAlexa compatibleGood suctionFairly quietTypically, we wouldâve gone for the small base models as we donât like the giant docking stations but this one seem to be in the middle having a docking station of about 11 inches wide 8 inches tall and 7 inches depth so thatâs not too bad. This vacuum was very easy to set up and once you have the app installed, it walks you through the basic steps from creating your first generic map, which will scan your entire house for a basic map. Then when you run your first clean, it will fine-tune that map and clean the zigzag pattern. You can set up schedules and scenarios, and you can even change the type of suction and power consumption to meet your needs.Out of all three vacuums that Iâve had or tried in the last year this one seems to be the smartest with navigation around obstacles and ledges. So far, I am incredibly impressed and that I am glad I returned the other one and spent the money to get this one.The only downside that I see that, but not enough to affect our rating in my opinion is that you will need to replace the bag inside the base unit every 60 days or so depending on how fast it fills up. From what I can see online a bag from the Eufy brand is $20 a bag or you can buy offbrand for a fraction of that cost.Just hope you donât need to correspond with their customer service. They will give you answers that are not even relevant to your question multiple times. Clearly, do not read the customerâs concerns before providing a generic system selected answer.Customer support is not supportive. I refuse to deal with them anymore.UPDATE:despite have the base 5 feet from modem, this unit is constantly going offline. The only way to fix this is to put in pairing mode manually and reinstall it to the app. At least when that is done it will connect to the map you already have. Also, having issues with network slow or down which defeats the purpose of a smart vacuum.

We purchased this item when it was on sale and it has been worth every penny its arrival. We have three cats in the house and as you can imagine, keeping up with cat hair can be a challenge. Since we started running the Eufy the floors are fur-free and clean.Setup of the Eufy was easy. Remove the protective tape, attach the side brush and set up the app. The first battery charge takes a fair amount of time so those impatient like me to see the “new toy” in action will have to wait for a while. The app provides comprehensive access to the unit, letting you set a schedule for cleaning, power of the unit, command it to come home, command it to start cleaning or to perform a spot clean. You can also manually control the unit if you want to but having tried that I really don’t see much of the point behind that feature. The Eufy takes a bit longer on its first run through the house. I suspect it is learning a bit about its environment on this first run. As it learns it is able to clean faster. The sensors are pretty good and the Eufy hasn’t even come close to falling down the stairs, even though it cleans right to the edge of the steps. It will bump into things but it adjusts and manages to clean around obstacles. You have to provide routine care for the unit on a regular basis. I empty the dustbin and remove any hair or debris from the roller and side brush every two days. It’s not a difficult job and takes only a few minutes.Overall, we are very happy with the Eufy. The floors look great and we don’t have to give it too much thought. Some things to consider:- The Eufy is “afraid” of sunlight. Its sensors interpret bright sunlight as a great void so it may send a cry for help if it finds itself in a bright sunbeam.- There is a roller brush and like any vacuum, that roller brush may get caught with stray objects. We have kids who sometimes leave a sock lying around. The unit will issue a cry for assistance if the roller becomes jammed.- Battery life is good. It cleans +/- 1000 sq feet every day without running low on battery. If it does run low it will return home and then resume cleaning once it is fully recharged.- The app runs over the WiFi and communicates over the internet as well. You can control the unit via the app even when you are not home.- Watch out for stray wires. The unit is very slender in height and fits under our entertainment unit where it finds a few wires and occasionally gets stuck. That said, I am amazed by how often it can run over a power cord and work its way back off.I’ve given the unit a four star review but I would go as high as 4.5. I am sure there are better, smarter robot vacuums out there but this one does what it is advertised to do and does it very well. The gap in the star review would be mostly around the fact that you really do have to pay attention to the thing, especially to keep it out of the sun.
