How did we get started?
Founded in 2013, we had a vision of bringing the cafe experience home, but without the clunky equipment. We launched our first product, Duo, on Kickstarter.

Warning…You will be hooked on Fellow products!I have owned several high-end coffee makers over the years and the Fellow Aiden Precision Coffee Maker is the best one I have ever owned! If you are a true coffee lover, this is a game changer! The quality of the brew is unmatched.It not only has a sleek look but its performance is off the charts. It gives you the perfect cup of hot coffee in style every time. I love the removable water tank on the side and not having a glass carafe! This machine can make cold brew, single cup and more. I love that there are so many variations.The set up was easy and I love that it has customizable settings and profiles. Fellow has really thought of everything in the Brew profile and there is even more on the Fellow app.The machine is easy to clean and set up. Every evening I just pick the profile for the next morning and perfect pot of coffee is waiting for me every time.If you are a serious coffee lover, the Aiden is worth every penny.

Learning curve + A few trial runs = The PERFECT cup of coffee!
I might have a hard time figuring out what NOT to like about this machine. Sure, it’s a little on the pricey side but what it is capable of is quite impressive. Best of all, it makes “The perfect cup of coffee” every time!Ready to read more? Then buckle up!…I can’t recommend enough to read the directions. Setting it up isn’t that difficult – it just takes some time.Getting the perfect cup of coffee? That’s going to take a few trial runs and I **HIGHLY** recommend using a scale measured in grams. My wife and I make an 8 cup pot of coffee each morning and we use the standard ratio of 1:16 which asks for 75 grams of dark roast. At first, my wife didn’t follow the directions and tried to do things the way we did with our old coffee pot – NOOOO!!! This device is meant for making a perfect cup or pot of coffee so following the recommendations is crucial for success! Normal brew coffee is a 1:16 water to grounds ratio. Want it stronger? Lower the ratio (i.e. 1:15 or 1:14). Want it weaker, raise the ratio (i.e. 1:20). The Fellow Aiden is meant to make coffee how YOU prefer it. Just take my advice and use a scale or buy one – you won’t be sorry you did.We personally just use the guided brew but I personally have a profile set up should I want a stronger cup of coffee than what my wife likes. I have now made a pot of coffee and I’ve also made a smaller 3 cup batch which requires using a different filter. What’s great is the machine will tell you to switch the filter container and swap the hose to single cup vs. batch brew. 8 cups of coffee takes exactly 10 minutes. 3 cups takes about 6 minutes. A one and a half cup takes only 4 minutes. When it brews coffee, it is very quiet. This thing is AWESOME!The carafe is nice too, it does keep things nice and hot for at least an hour but we’re usually pouring our morning cup(s) within 30 minutes of it automatically brewing. Some reviews complain about it not keeping coffee hot? Well drink it after it’s done brewing because that’s when it is best!Setting up the timer is extremely simple and we prefer doing it on our phone just because it’s a larger viewable real-estate vs the circular window.Just be careful! When testing this and learning how to use it, we left a batch of coffee in the carafe and forgot to empty it. We woke up this morning to a floor with coffee on it that we had to clean up. The machine does not have an overflow sensor on it and since it’s not glass, you can’t see if there is something inside of it. Not the machines fault but something to be aware of!Ultimately, if this appliance can last us a good amount of time, we will be happy. Coffee makers don’t seem to last as long as they used to. The machine looks great and it is a nice compact form that SHOULD fit in most counter spaces as you can see in my photos.In conclusion, I do recommend it for how well it makes coffee and how configurable it is to your own personal taste(s). I’m not an expert but I enjoy a nice cup of coffee in the morning. This excels at doing just that!

Looks amazing, makes amazing coffee
I’ve been on the hunt forever for a coffee maker that makes genuinely good coffee and doesnt look like a cheap plastic appliance on my counter. The Fellow Aiden is finally it. It’s the perfect mix of style and specialty coffee.âThe coffee it makes is so much better than my old machine, way smoother and not bitter at all.You can really taste the difference becuase of the fancy shower head thing that gets all the grounds wet evenly. The thermal carafe is great too, keeps the coffee hot for hours without that burnt taste from a hot plate. And the removable water tank is a small thing but makes refilling so much easier.âMy favorite feature is probably the app. Being able to schedule a brew from my phone the nite before is a game-changer. It really does deliver that coffee shop quality with zero effort. It’s definitely an investment, so it’s not for everyone, but I figured I was spending a ton at cafes anyway.âSo if you’re sper serious about your morning coffee and want something that looks the part, this is probably the best machine out there. Plus, it just looks so good in the kitchen. A product I’m actualy happy to have out on display.

Exceptionally designed product that makes a perfect cup
This is, quite simply, the best cup of coffee we’ve had, from one the most beautifully-designed kitchen implements we have in our home. Out of the box I expected it to be a challenge to use. It felt a little intimidating. Frankly, following the guided brew or even the scheduled brew (the two settings we use most often) takes out all the guesswork and delivers a super consistent result. After using it for several weeks now, we are extremely happy with the product. It’s been so refreshing to get away from pods and burnt coffee and start enjoying a great cup each morning to start the day. Not having a burner/heating element to keep a carafe hot is a brilliant design feature that also helps us feel safer about using it on a schedule. We considered other products, and have owned other coffee and espresso makers at and behind this price point, but this one has been our favorite by far and feels like a great value. Beyond that, every detail seems to have been considered, down to a dripless basket that makes cleanup super simple. We strongly recommend the Aiden (which we paired with an Ode grinder – also a fantastic product).

I purchased this coffee maker in January of 2025. It worked very well for about 3-4 weeks but then I had to descale it. I tried all options suggested by the manufacturer but none worked. I reached out to Fellow and they shipped me a new (refurb) coffee maker as a replacement.The next coffee maker arrived in mid-February. The exact same thing happened. I used the suggested descaler as suggested by the manufacturer but again, it did not come back. It was completely blocked no matter what I tried and what suggestions came from Fellow. They suggested I try one last time so they shipped me a third refurb coffee maker.The third one arrived mid-April. However, instead of using any kind of filtered water, I used ONLY distilled water 100% of the time…with zero minerals to prevent scaling. Unfortunately, that just extended the life of this machine by another 1-2 weeks. It has started to behave the exact same as the other two coffee makers where it asks for more water even though the reservoir is completely full. I have tried descaling (even though there should be zero scale from distilled water), I’ve returned to factory settings, I’ve run the flush test and it failed (both were around 2ml/S), and nothing works.I thought I would resolve the scale issue if I used distilled water but that doesn’t seem to work now. I know the manufacturer suggests NOT to use distilled water but using filtered water/tap water/normal bottled water all lead to problems that the manufacturer was unable to troubleshoot.Do not purchase this coffee maker, especially if you live in a region with hard water.

My go-to every morning for the past 3 months. One drawback that a lot of people already highlighted is the user interface and button combo on the machine itself. The user interface could benefit from a redesign to better suit a round screen with a single button to operate the whole thing. This is easily fixable and doesn’t affect the overall quality of the machine and the coffee it makes. The application available on your phone solves (kinda) the user interface problem and makes it easier to configure your brew profiles. Overall, this coffee maker delivers incredible and consistent coffee every morning.

Alright, so Iâve been a die-hard French press guy for years, but I finally decided I wanted something I could set and forget without sacrificing quality or control. Enter the Aiden coffee brewer.This thing absolutely delivers. The settings, the level of controlâyou can really dial in the perfect cup just like with a French press, but without the hassle. Plus, the community around it is super helpful if you want to tweak your brew.And yeah, it looks pretty sweet on the counter too. Solid upgrade.
