TIPS & TRICKS
– Before you begin work, prepare the area by removing stones, rocks, root outcroppings, or any item that may cause damage to the cultivator tines.
– The best soil conditions will be a day or two after rain, when the ground is moist but not wet. Wet soil cannot be tilled properly and will dry in clumps. It is best to be patient and work the soil when it is moist.
– If you have new plantings in the ground or are working in tight and confined areas, you can remove blade wheels as needed for better access and efficiency.
– Exercise restraint when using any rotary cultivator. Aggressive or excessive tilling can have detrimental effects on soil structure and the beneficial organisms within it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I really like this tool – it is fast – it’s sharp and does the trick to loosen up soil in the garden. It was a good value and I will use it for years (if the good lord is willing). The different tine handles are great too. Buy this if you have a garden bed – you will LOVE it! Value for money:Good Value too!! Â

Good choice for smaller yards
I have a smaller lawn and could not validate the purchase (or even rental) of a tiller. Instead I purchased this product since it was not only cheaper but didn’t take up much room in the garage.The pros:1) Cost2) Small size3) Functionality – it really does work4) Quality – easy to put together and none of the parts seem flimsyThe cons:1) It should be about be a bit longer. I’m not that tall and even for it I found myself having to lean down to use this2) Anyone with limited strength or mobility may find this challenging to use3) If you’re using it in an overgrown area then you should mow first. Otherwise you’ll be having to stop and remove all the grassweeds from the wheels.Overall it has some limitations but I am pleased with the purchase for my size garden.

Good product but not for Kansas. Buy a tiller.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Nice garden tool. Well built for what it can do. Not made for Kansas  soils.  Our garden is nice dirt but once you get a lot of rain and compaction it wonât scratch a half inch. Would be nice in sandy soils but wonât touch black soils mixed with manure.Â

I debated whether to save a few dollars and purchase something else or the Garden Weasel. I needed something to prep the soil for repair of a few bare spots. It worked as advertised. Very satisfied. No complaints.
