Portable Battery Power & Jump Starter
Always nice and easy to have your own portable battery pack & jump starter not having to rely on jumper cables and having to find someone to help you jump start your car. Lot of jump starters on here being sold are no name brands you never heard of. Genies has been around a long time with automatic garage door openers. So they are very reliable and trustworthy in the products they make. This holds a charge for about 4 months in my truck before having to recharge it. Small enough for storing in your car and not taking up space. And easy enough for anyone to learn how to use it and have it on hand for a car battery emergency or helping out someone who is stranded.

The LED-lit digital display offers a much more informative and engaging user interface compared to the standard four LED blinking bars common in other models.However, the device falls short when it comes to charging convenience, as it uses a barrel type 12V charging cable instead of the more widely-used USB port charger.As for the build quality, this device is above average, displaying a robust and reliable design.If it weren’t for the charging inconvenience, I’d purchase four more of these devices as gifts. Battery dead and no help in sight
We have purchased this item for multiple family members–makes a great gift. If you are concerned about being on a deserted road when your battery dies, no car in sight to jump you, fearful of who might approach you, this simple devise is just what you need for peace of mind It will start your car without requiring a second car and can restart your car 10 times before you need to recharge the devise. It has saved the day for some of our kids and neighbors several times. Makes a great gift for a daughter going off to college, a young mother with small children who are too young to walk for help and it is too hot to remain in the car to wait for help, and takes up much less room than a good set of jumper cables. ONce you have tried it you will never want to be without it!

IF your car is dead from watching movies with the car off, it will save it, but you have to catch it before it’s fully dead. If it is fully fully dead, you will need something with more umph. This thing is solid buy. I bought it for $35, it’s $80 now.Duralast is the charger I need when my car dies, and I learned to unplug my accessories.

My husband used this twice for others that would have needed jumper cables in parking lots where getting around other cars and buildings would have been an issue. This product is small and easy to use. We bought one for our daughter as a Christmas gift. She probably doesnât think anything about it now, and hopefully she wonât need it. But itâs there is she does. Buy one!!!

Didn’t last a year
I bought it a year ago, charged it, and tested it as per the instructions. It worked just fine. I charged it every six months and I just tested it again today. It failed. With it showing 80-90% charge and after the preliminary connecting steps and checking voltage, pushing the jump button is supposed to go green and stay that way for ~30 seconds to allow the ignition to be cycled on. Instead, after the jump button is pushed and shows green, it immediately shut off. I then charged it back to 100%, used it to jump start a small 2.0L gas engine with a fully charged battery and it worked correctly. A minute later connected it again and it failed again. In other words, the battery jump starter battery is weak and can’t hold a charge. Time to get a NOCO jump starter.

I have been using this battery charger for about 8 months and the only problem I have had was when it wasnât fully charged. Starts my 2013 Murano when the battery wonât.
