Hands-down the best carpet chair mat. I’ve gone through 2 others that never stayed in place and/or the chair still didn’t roll well despite being on the mat. I think the previous mats were made of too thin of material. THIS MAT rules! Doesn’t slip around and my desk chair has never had so much mobility. The price is amazing too, just BUY this. It’s super worth it.

A bit disappointing.
The size, shape, and weight are as advertised and very good. It seems to be holding its place on our home office floor rug. And, yes, it was thankfully shipped flat, not rolled or folded; much appreciated. However; the cardboard package on delivery was split open on one of the two longest sides. Furthermore, one of the corners of the piece was chipped off. There was no chip within the packaging, most likely indicating that the mat was chipped prior to shipping. Fortunately, the chip is small and the mat is functioning adequately. Not perfect….

Works very well for my weight, carpet pile and home office desk
I weigh less than 170 lbs and bought this for my home office chair. The carpet and fabric mat under it are short pile so it stays flat on the floor making it much easier to move to different desk positions. So far I have no cracks or break in over a month of daily use. If it has any downsides, the first is that it ships in a box larger than the mat because it ships flat. However, that means it doesn’t have to be unrolled and the edges held down so it’s no reason to drop a star. If I have a real problem with it it’s because my desk is larger than the mat. I keep some of the mat under the desk so that the chair can roll up to the desk, but that means the mat has to entirely between the end legs of my desk. So, sometimes working at one end of my desk or the other a chair wheel will roll off the mat and unless I try to move the chair while sitting on it one or more of the wheels that have rolled off the mat will catch pretty hard on the edge of the mat. However, I could hardly expect it to behave better and I suspect if I start seeing cracks or breaks in the mat it will be from than but none so far.

Mat has deformed with use on carpet
My carpet is about 1/4″ deep, so I thought this would be fine. But after a month or so, the mat started to form into a cup, so the edge doesn’t stay flat, and the chair wheels catch when I roll onto it. (I definitely should have bought a deeper and wider mat, so that the chair stays on the mat all the time.) The mat doesn’t seem damaged at all…so it’s high quality in that respect, but I guess I wish it was stiffer.
