Horrible warranty and poorly made components.
I remove and clean the brushes after every use, as well as wiping down the entire machine. After only using the grillbot 4 times, I found that one of the brushes would not come off of the spindle, no matter how hard I pushed the release button on the brush. After finally getting the brush off and cleaning, I found that two of the brushes no longer lock onto the spindle. They just fall off. Upon inspection I noticed that the small tabs that retract/protract to remove/secure the brushes were missing/broken on two of the spindles. I contacted the manufacturer, because surely a product less than a week old and only being used 4 times HAS to have this type of defect covered under warrantyâ¦. NOPE. I received a response fairly quickly, I was impressed. The response was that these components are AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE directly from Grillbot or Amazonâ¦.not impressed. Seriously, youâre making me have to pay for a defect in a new product?!?! I have seen the Grillbot commercials for quite awhile, and considered the product to be just another cheaply made gimmick. I finally decided to give it a try. It does a decent job of cleaning the grates, but if I have to pay $10 for replacement parts (thatâs what a 3 pack of these spindles cost) after every 4th use, itâs not worth the convenience. My initial impression of the product after seeing the tv commercials was 100% correct. Itâs an overpriced, poorly made gimmick. BUYER BEWARE!

Bin sehr begeistert von diesem Roboter , wie ein kleiner Käfer, dem nach Drücken “ON” Leben eingehaucht wird. Schnell Deckel drauf und zwischenzeitlich andere Dinge erledigen. Ganz wichtig: Nur für Griller mit Deckel! Sonst springt der Käfer todesmutig vom Griller 🙂 Die Reinigung ist vollkommen in Ordnung!

Je pensais avoir trouvé la solution au nettoyage fastidieux de ma grille de barbecue et de celles que j’utilise pour faire cuire les différents ingrédients mais voilà , ce robot doit être exclusivement utilisé dans un barbecue rond et fermé!!!Le mien étant rectangulaire et ouvert…Sauf que ce détail ne figure pas sur la description donc je suis obligée de retourner le produit à mes frais!
