Good lights with great portability for a fair price
I have used the lights to shoot a short film project out in the dunes for film school. This set of lights had the ability to use batteries to power. I purchased the batteries separately for the lights. They come in packs of two. You will need two batteries for each light if you do not have a power source. The lights worked great. The settings are easy to use and adjust, especially with use of the app.

A nice set o photo floods at a reasonable price
This is a good set of photo floods for ‘close’ to ‘medium’ distance work at a very good price. (Shown: photographing model horses. Providing some key and some fill lighting for a costuming photo session in conjunction with two additional GVM photo floods from a different kit.)I have found only a few very minor issues with the kit: The frost difffusion filters do not always lock securily in the gel frames [a spot of gaff tape for insurance is always a good idea, particularily if you will be moving the fixtures around overhead.] Second, the photo flood’s maximum brightness does vary significantly with changes in color temperature. This is mainly an issue when using with additional lights and coordinating their color temperatures and intensities. Best to set the color temperature first, then adjust intensities and/or positions as needed. Third, the kit only comes with one ‘soft box’ attachment and it cuts light output down enough that it will only find use in very close work or where light ‘spill’ is a serious issue. Fortuantely the fixture’s basic light pattern is even enough that additional diffusion is rarely needed. Finally the fixture stands only fit in the storage case on the diagonal. Not a huge deal but does leave two opposing corners of the case a good deal stiffer than the other two. Not an issue for gear in the case [The individual kit component storage cloth bags are almost unbelievably stout], but possibly an issue with other stuff packed around the case in, say, a loaded car.

These lights are awesome! Super easy to use too! I donât use the color options often, but when I do I have no issues using the app. I love that I can control where the light goes and the intensity. Another feature I love is that they can be plugged in or battery operated. The case is also super nice to store and travel with. I would definitely purchase these if you are in the market for photography or videography lighting!

Awesome lights
I love that you can use battery power or AC . They are super bright when needed an you can lower the Power for a less bright need. Love the app to control wireless. You can change colors . You can set scenes for lightning . I wonât use them for that but itâs there if I need it. It comes in a great case that breaks down to a small footprint. I was shocked in a good way at the larger size. Itâs a great addition to my photography or video. Better than advertised in my opinion.

Die Lampen von GVM begleiten mich treu durch jedes Shooting. Von Produktfotos über portraits, liefern die Lampen eigentlich immer was sie sollen. Auch die Möglichkeit hier auf Batteriebetrieb umzuschalten, lässt mir die nötige Flexibilität die Dinger auch drauÃen zu verwenden.Erstklassige Lampen, toller Service und schnelle Lieferung noch dazu. Bisher bin ich total zufrieden.

Du matériel très intéressant pour celles et ceux qui débutent leur expérience de création cinénatographique. Le fait qu’avec l’application nous puissions décider de la couleur de la lumière sans passer par des filtres physiques nous permet d’avoir une multitude de possibilités au niveau de l’ambiance désirée pour le tournage!!!

these LED panels are not as bright as show in description, I would rather buy GVM 1200D or any strobe in same price does very decent job. these panels are good if using for small studio or you need some fill or background lighting.
