Simple, not overly hot, and provides mood lighting if wanted too!
This heater was very easy to install, just plug it in and use the pull cord. I use it in our outdoor kitchen and it provides enough heat to keep the chill off. There are three heat intensity settings so you can adjust as necessary. It does not put off a huge amount of heat, but for our purposes it is perfect. It also provides some lighting as the coils illuminate if you want some less harsh lighting. It seems to be made of good quality material and reflects the heat downward.

Follow up- March 19th, 2025- So I will say the company was very attentive to my concerns with their product. They sent me a third unit immediately after being notified that # 2 went bad. With cold weather still hanging around through early March we have continued to use it in the garage. At this point there have been no issues. I expect it will be boxed up for the summer this week and pulled back out next winter. I will change my review to four stars for now and if it makes it through next winter I will apply the fifth star next year. I would advise them to look for a better, more reliable switch to place in their product. All the other components seem to be good enough quality to make this heater last for several years. The customer service is exceptional!Received 1st heater, plugged it in and it heated the garage very well. Switch went out after two weeks. Send it back for a second one. Plugged it in and heated garage very well. Return window closed 7 days ago and switch went out. Switch is made in China, as is all merchandise we get in America. Donât waste your time on this product.

Nice gor our porch!
We needed a little heat for cooler fall and spring evenings over our porch swing. This is perfect! It’s not hot enough for really cold temps but perfect for taking the chill of cooler days and nights. Works well and does it’s job.

If the manufacturer lacked such little attention to detail in packaging, I canât imagine the overall assembly could not be much better. Every employee who looked into the box realized that the major component of the assembly was blatantly missing. The product was made to hang so when a threaded bolt is hanging out of the top without a hook, one would have to figure the hook is missing! Also missing was a manual or a postcard with a website or a name that I could Google. I believe thereâs a direct relationship between their anonymity and their lack of responsibility. The only way to control the temperature of this heater is by the number of times you pull a thin piece of string. No remote, no manual thermostat (which are not expensive). There was not even an on /off switch. The entire operating system is dependent on a piece of string 20% that of a shoelace. This was not a cheap item. The owner employees and inspectors of this company were very intentionally tried to make as much money and do as little as possible no pride in their work and no shame, that I can tell. I was finally able to locate a hook that matched the proper thread size and mount the heater. It did turn on and got hotter with each very gentle tug of the twine. So day one, so good. These people may redeem themselves if it works for any extended amount of time. I would encourage them to have a manual made and translated into proper English and to think about making an aftermarket thermostat. I hope one day I can find products like this that are made in America. I would not mind paying more.

Wanted to like it.
It probably work week as indirect heat when it is over 60 degrees outside. I had position directly overhead. My head would get to warm and my forearms would be to cold. I am not able to put over a table as I would rather have a fan there.

updated review: customer service is replacing the heater that broke.
The smaller bulb blew out in April 2025 after using it less than 6 months and definitely not the 6000 hours it claims. Fortunately itâs getting warmer in the evenings now. I wonât buy again.Update: customer service reached out to me and offered to replace the heater at no cost to me. They were very courteous and helpful, definitely willing to make things right.
