Perfect for rentals or any light-duty applications
These shelves are so clever and functional. Whoever designed them is a genius.My teenage son had been looking to display some models on shelves, and unbeknownst to me, he bought standard shelves from Amazon. I asked him if he also bought a stud finder, drywall anchors, or a level, and of course he had no idea what it takes to install shelves. I also checked with the property manager, and she said absolutely not. Our lease prohibits making holes in the walls or mounting things on the walls other than pictures.Enter High And Mighty. I found these online, and I thought they would probably be low-impact enough to get away with since they leave small holes slightly larger than a picture hanger. I didnât know what to expect, and ended up being pleasantly surprised by how easy they were to install.Each shelf comes with its own level attached to an adhesive mounting guide. You simply figure out where you want to put the shelf, and stick the tape to the wall so that it is reading level. Then, you follow the template on the tape to press the mounting hardware into the wall. Each bracket is a claw with a hinge, and you put it where the guide shows and then press it flat so that the claw pushes into the drywall and grips it. Then, you hang the shelf on the brackets. The shelf itself is 1 1/2 inches tall, and it fits over the guide and level, which you never have to remove. That is the entire thing. Maybe two minutes to hang one shelf. Incredible. They mount securely, and there is no play in the attachments.I told our property manager about these shelves, and she was impressed and said she will probably get some for her own house.Keep in mind that these shelves are supported entirely by the strength of the drywall. They are fine for plants, or models, or anything light. I would not recommend them for books or anything heavy. By design, they are also not very deep, which also makes sense given that making them deep would put more stress on the drywall. They are, however, perfect for the models my son wanted to put on there.

Probably one of the top 3 items Iâve ever purchased from Amazon. Took 1minute to install and is rock sturdy. Would very highly recommend this floating shelf. Leaves almost zero damage to the wall.

Great size, look, and easy of set up
It worked very well for holding our roku and remote in. It holds the weight of its rated capacity. Very easy to install! The only problem is that they expect you to use your fingers to push the points to puncture the drywall. I had to use a a mallet, not to strike with, but to press in the points while using my body as leverage.

Impossible to install
Wonât go into the wall. A team of 3 people couldnât get it in.After days of trying restored to using a hammer to get the brackets into the wall. Then the brackets slid right out.Useless.

So easy to put together
This was probably the easiest floating shelf I’ve ever put up. A lot of reviews say it hangs off of the wall but that will only happen if you don’t push the brackets all the way into the wall. Best to use a hammer lightly to push it all the way in. The level was very helpful. 5 stars!
