Smart, Stylish, and Super Useful
The 2K resolution makes pictures look very clear day and night. I didn’t know I needed color night vision until I tried it. Now I don’t have to look at blurry black-and-white sights anymore. I can see everything in color and detail, even when it’s pitch black.The ability to detect movements and provide notifications in real time is one of the finest things about it. I get alerts as soon as there is movement, and the AI is clever enough not to go off for every little thing. It’s a terrific way to keep up with what’s going on without having to look at the app all day.It’s very nice that you can chat to each other. I chat to my dog through it while I’m at work, and she really does reply! It’s also been helpful to remember the kids or simply say hey to my hubby from upstairs. The speaker and microphone are quite good.Another great thing about this is that it works with Alexa. With my Echo Show, I can check the feed with only my voice. It’s easy and pleasant to use. You may also look back at key situations by watching recordings and taking pictures via the app.The design also struck me; it’s sleek and modern, not bulky or distracting. It fits in well with the rest of my home and doesn’t look like a “surveillance camera.”It took less than ten minutes to set up, and the app made everything easy to understand. I didn’t need to know a lot about technology to get things working.

A Camera That Follows Kika Around and Lets Me Talk to Her
I’ve tried a few pet cameras, but this one actually moves to follow Kika when she’s running around the living room. The app is easy to use and I can check in on her even when I’m away for a few days. The camera swings all the way around, so nothing escapes its view. One time, I saw her chasing her tail and I called out to her to get her attention. She stopped and stared right at the camera like she was waiting for me to say something else. It was hilarious.The night vision works better than I expected. I could see Kika clearly even when all the lights were off. Getting alerts on my phone if there’s movement is useful, especially when I’m out late or just want to make sure the house is quiet. Being able to save short videos either to my SD card or the cloud is handy, though I’m just using the card for now.

Not Wireless, Wireless Means Detects Motion Without Other Devices
This review is for the indoor robot camera in the white color. I am not sure why the listing only has the black version right now.The camera is pretty easy to setup. You do have to download their app for use. Their app makes you register and pushes their cloud services pretty heavily. In fact, you have to deselect it multiple times when setting things up otherwise it tries to default to it as the option. So just read carefully. You connect to the camera itself and then to your wifi and you are done. It has a slot for an SD memory card (not included) as the only means of storing the footage. It sends an alert from your phone and then will also playback from the SD card in the app. If you are using this for your pets or things then that is fine. If you’re using it for security then it could possibly be an issue to keep in mind.It comes with the USB-A to USB-C cord. It also comes with the power supply that plugs into the wall which is a nice touch these days. The camera itself has the visor that is used as a blackout. It is not really a hidden camera, and doesn’t advertise itself as one, because the visor has to be up and the camera has red lights all around it. You can definitely tell it is a camera.The video quality is pretty good for such a simple device. I’m pretty sure it is upscaled 2k and not true 2k but it is clear enough to see what is going on and details. It also has 5GHz/2.4GHz wifi connectivity which is nice if you are on an older wifi system. It has a reset button on top and they include the little thin key thing to hit the button.I could not get this to function wirelessly. Every time that I unplugged the device it would disconnect. Plugged in works fine though and everything functions. It also doesn’t have an on and off switch? So I’m not sure it can be used wirelessly after all. I think they mean that it can detect motion wirelessly just using the camera instead of also needing sensors.Overall, it works well and has quite a few functions. I just wish it was truly wireless as it made it seem and that they didn’t push the cloud so much on their app.
