Good jigsaw for the price
I was amazed at this jigsaws ability to cut. 3 – 3/4″ pieces of cherry wood glued together and it cut right thruogh. It was a bit slow but was faster than my scroll saw and band saw. We’ll see how long it holds up. Seems pretty heavy duty for the price.

The sawdust tube was a problem
I was giving it three stars. So let’s start what had me going. The plastic tube for the sawdust bag that clips in the back of the base plate, we’ll it would not slide in no matter how much I tryed to push it in, it just would not lock in to clip. So I had to take the Allen bolt out the bottom that adjusts your angle cut. Well i said it must go counter clock wise, I mean it was in so tight going the right way, I had to force the Allen key so hard I held my breath thinking the bolt head would snap. They deformed the half circle thats the case of the jigsaw. So I had to file the clip for the vacuum tube. So it worked but thats not called for. The 4.9 rating must be on the nice tight fit to the lock of the jigsaw blade. So it dont wobble side to side but we did not cut circles yet. I would not make a angle cut with that jigsaw. The base plate does not run on two guides its a allen bolt with a sleeve under it in the middle. You got to have a good eve to center it and zero balance it. The extra brushes must be a good sign for the motor. I hope it gets my project done and makes it through one use thats all I need it for.

Not very powerful, blades wear easily
Good not great- gets the job done but the blades are not very sharp and there is not much power. Works for small jobs but would not recommend for very hard materials. Ergonomic handle and dust diverted are a nice addition.
