Glad I bought this
I pined for a Kuat NV 2.0 bike rack for a long time. Once, I finally bought one, I didn’t anticipate that it would be somewhat of a cumbersome item to have around. When its in the garage, there’s no good way to keep it out of the way and it doesn’t sit flat on any of its surfaces. Plus, its a beautiful bike rack and you’d hate to have it on the concrete where the finish might get scratched up. So, I had mine precariously propped on discarded pieces of foam when not in use. The rack was always kind of cluttering the garage and I was worried that the kids might tip it over.This rack dock is the obvious solution. The installation literally takes 2 minutes and the process is almost idiotproof. You only need a stud sensor and a drill. Kuat provides the drill bit. The rack is secure, looks good. I installed mine about a foot off the ground, so I no longer need to bend down to pick up the rack from the ground. I’m glad I bought this. I had previously looked into wall mount hitch docks from other companies and this one seemed to be made to higher standards.You should be aware that the weight limit for the dock is something like 100 pounds. You cannot put your rack up on the wall and then store your bikes on the rack when it is docked to the wall.

Awesome
Such a simple concept , but so great to have a quick easy place to keep a bike rack. They are awkward and usually all over the garage and always in the way. Now I just back in and take it from the rack and plug it right in. Totally out of the way now and easy to access. Only sits about a foot from the wall so it doesnât even take up much usable space in the garage. Great idea. Great product. A place for everything and everything has a place. My OCD thanks you Kuat.

Perfect storage solution to match a great line of products
This is why I love Kuat products. They work hard to make them work as they should and look great…but then got the extra mile to ensure they round out the experience with accessories like this storage mount. It works perfectly, keeps my pretty hitch rack off the ground and out of the way, and frankly looks so cool in the back of my garage. Highly recommend if you have a Kuat hitch rack and a wall to mount this to.

Great storage idea
Instructions were easy to follow and install took less than a minute. Itâs much sturdier than I had thought and holds their Piston Pro X rack without a problem. Just fyi, as I was trying to find it, the rack sticks out approximately 22â from the wall when installed in the dock.

Nice Add-on for the Kuat NV 2.0 rack
Just switched from Thule to a Kuat NV 2.0 hitch rack and wanted a way to easily store the rack when not on the vehicle and this worked and installed exactly as described. No complaints. I had a similar mount for my Thule hitch mount but this Kuat Rack Dock just looks a bit more refined and the orange matched the rack. It all worked better than my older Thule mount as the new racks have that shim-like mount that you can turn and everything snugs right up….no wobble on the car or in the Rack Dock. Also holds the locking hitch pin so less chance of me losing that and having to reorder a new one.The Rack Dock installed exactly as described only need a stir finder, drill driver and a small level…literally takes less than 5 minutes.

This wall mount is great. A simple design, easy to mount, easy to use and really well made. No bad welding or misaligned holes. It is worth the money in quality and in functionality. I love it and would recommend it to anyone.By the way, Iâm using this mount to store my bike carrier for the winter. It is Kuat Nomad 2I would like to add that these are simply the best looking (and functioning) bike racks on the market. In my opinion, of course.
