Why are the Meta Quest 3 touch controllers not charging?
Firstly, The silver electrode area on the battery should correspond to the aluminium piece on the battery cover , must facing upwards when charging, and ensure contact with the metal contacts on the battery cover.

Great charger!
The dock is really quite nice. While all plastic it still feels really solid. The added rechargeable batteries are nice and seem to work well. The charging notification lights are clear and easy to see and understand. Red its charging / green you are good to go. It’s totally unnecessary, but the mechanical arms that “grab” your headset and hold it in place is pretty cool, but if using on a flat surface should not be an issue.I selected this charger due to its clean looks and secure place to allow the controllers and headset to charge when not in use and I’m really happy with my choice.

Setup was easyâjust plug the included cable into the back of the unit, and itâs ready to go.The dock is simple to use. When placing the headset in the cradle, you need to tilt it slightly forward to clear the sliding lock mechanism. Once in place, the locks gently slide over and secure the headset. The arms have soft rubber padding (thicker at the top), which helps protect the headset and keeps it stable.The lock engages a second or two after the headset touches the charging contacts. To release it, press the recessed button next to the right controller, and the lock slides open immediately. Removing the headset is smooth and intuitive.It also includes two rechargeable batteries and replacement battery covers for the controllers. Just make sure the metal contact points on the batteries face outward to align with the contacts inside the covers. The controller cradles are shaped to match, so they only fit one way.Thereâs a simple and helpful LED display on the front:ð´ Red = chargingð¢ Green = fully charged⪠White = movement/lock statusEven under each controller cradle, a white light indicates charging activity. It’s a nice visual touch.Charging performance is solid. It took my headset from 7% to 100% in about 4 hours. Quits working very quickly. Not worth the price!
It worked great for about a month but then the locking mechanism quit working. Then a couple months later it quit charging all together. I wouldn’t recommend getting this!

Amazing charging dock! Comes with rechargeable controller batteries (no they donât last as long as standard batteries but more than needed for a single session). It even auto locks the main unit itself into place, which came as a pleasant surprise! 10/10 recommend 🙂

ISN’T COMPATIBLE WITH FACE PAD
IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH MANY MEDICAL 3 FACE PADS. If you want a different face pad than the one the Quest 3 comes with like I recommend getting, the work destech does not work with this charger. I’m not sure what I’m taking back the charger or the face pad because I think I could find another charger that would work. This specific face pad has plastic vents that obstruct the connection on this type of charging. very irritating.
