Perfect for sneaker heads
Perfect for sneaker heads! These boxes are great for displaying shoes. Please watch my video if you have an issue with the back of the box not securing properly and popping open. I had an issue with this and emailed the seller who let me know I had the side panels installed incorrectly – I had to disassemble and reassemble. Hopefully my video will save you a headache, the instructions it comes with were not clear on this part of installation. The boxes are sturdy and look good. The front closes nicely with the magnetic grip and they are easy to stack and connect. Will be buying more in the future.

First, look at the price. The picture you see is fully assembled and of course it makes it look nicer than it actually is. You are not going to get 12 high end solid already assembled rigid plastic storage bins with easy open fronts. Also, these do not slide out.These are mass produced sheets of strong plastic that come completely flat made to expand into a shape of a box. So these are flexible and only rigid once the ends are assembled. Assembly is required and requires a bit of patience on the first one.In saying that, shoes should not require a strong storage box and these work fine unless you plan to use it every day all the time. I would recommend for storage & not for repeated use by many people. For shoes being used daily, I’d recommend something else or just use a regular shoe rack.Many styles of shoes will stand up straight in the box, but high heels may have to be turned sideways. I have also used for baseball caps as well.Assembly. It is very SIMPLE but patience is required! Expand the plastic sheets and make it form a box shape. Bend inward all tabs on both ends. Position the back onto one end and click in one side, then use your hands to guide the edges into the back, click in sides. Repeat for other end, paying attention to which way you want the little door to open. First few were slow, then it was easy from there on out.You have 12 to do so you might want to do a few of the same movements at the same time, or get someone to help.These will stack. You must push out the stacking tabs. The box on top has tabs on the bottom to slide into the top sides of box below to make it sturdy.Is this high end? No. Use care when opening the little door.Does it work well in the top of a closet? Yes. It took a lot of clutter and organized it very well, off the floor and into spaces we were not using.We bought another set for out closet so for what it is, we recommend it

One of the better drop-front boxes
I have been using the container store boxes for a while and those are good and sturdy. The boxes are much taller than the container store ones but about an 3/4″ shorter. I wear a sz 10.5 and my shoes fit with a lot of extra room. The tallest shoe I have is the Jordan 1 and I am able to stand them up without the shoes touching the roof of the box. I can’t do that with the container store boxes. Igot the clear boxes because it just looks very clean. I tried these because the container store is an hour away from me and they don’t do shipping. These boxes are a really nice substitute and a major plus is the doors are magnetic so you don’t have to worry about that little lock tab breaking off. The only gripes I have with them are when you stack them 5+ high the lower box doors have a hard time closing. You have to push it closed. It’s not as smooth as when there is no weight of the box. The other thing is the magnets for the door. There are two small one and they are supposed to sit in the little slots. Some did not so I just added some super glue to it and pushed it in. It works so if you are thinking of getting these be aware of that. The boxes come with small plastic pegs to keep the boxes stacked on each other without sliding around. One of the boxes didn’t have pegs in it BUT there were more than enough in the others to make up for it.

WATCH THE SHOE SIZE! Menâs 11.5 barely fits!!
The description states fits shoe size 13, but that is not accurate. My 14-year-old son wears size 11.5. This picture is his 11.5 shoe barely fitting in the box. Some of his basketball shoes fit okay for now, but others do not. When his feet grow, his new size 12 or 13 shoes absolutely will not fit in these. I had to disassemble to return. So disappointed because the quality seems to be pretty good.
