You get what you pay for!
Hereâs the scoop. I bought the off brand cheap set of âmade in Chinaâ micro weights so I can add 2.5 pounds to any weight (the five pounds jumps at the gym arenât working well for me).They were 46 bucks and they are crap! You have to use a RUBBER BAND to keep the weights on the dumbell. Also, theyâre so big that they protrude out from the dumbell, making it awkward when set down.I sucked it up and bought the on brand, âmade in Americaâ set. What a difference! Theyâre smaller in size and fit nicely inside the dumbell. They are clearly better material, and they are SPRINGLOADED so all I have to do is pop them on and off with ease. This set was pricey at 96 bucks, but for ease of use and quality Iâll pay the extra $50.In this instance, you do get what you pay for.

Expanded an entire weight tree with these plates!!
These are awesome, they attach to my dumbbells quickly and easily and they totally expanded my weight set by double. Currently only had 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30lb dumbbells. Now I have intervals in between for one low cost! Great product. Very durable and made well.

Great addition to home gym!
First thought was that these are kinda pricey, but made in the US by a small business made me purchase on Black Friday. And I see now they are worth the money. High quality, well made!Such a great addition to my home gym.Now I can go up in weight on all the dumbbells I already have.All my dumbbells are different brands and therefore different sized handles. These work on all of them, some are a looser fit but they still fit without slipping around.They also fit in the inner part of my Olympic barbell, inside the collars (NOT on the 2in sleeve where weights go) so I can see myself using them there as well.Love these and would recommend them!

Better made than the competitors
Great product. I can’t go up in 5 lb increments working arms & shoulders and reloading the screw on weights is tedious. I saw cheaper ones on Amazon, but they were held closed with rubber/silicone bands. I was afraid the bands would break over time- while lifting. These have a legit spring mechanism holding them shut. More expensive, but better made. Worth it to me!

These plates are so great to hook onto weights to he you a 2.5 lb increase without having to spend $ on actual new weights. I just wasnât a fan of the price.

Game changer!
These are a total game changer! My gym only offers weights in 5 lb increments, which can be tough for me. These plates let me make smaller jumps so I can really feel and see my progressâand thatâs incredibly motivating.

Expensive but 100% worth it
If youâre reading this review, you already know the problem this solves. And it does so perfectly. Skip the cheaper magnetic solutions, wrist weights, etc. Buy once cry once. This works on all dumbbells, fixed barbells, standard barbells, and curl bars.

I’m receiving my incremental weights tomorrow! When you are doing lateral raises or lying tricep extensions or even dumbbell curls jumping 2 kg to the next weight it’s not at all possible on certain rep ranges…I have incremental chrome plates but use them for olympic bars …I’ve tried tying them on my dumbbells with miniature bungees but they just hit your hands or get in the way of your grip

Received these today and I am impressed. They will be a great addition to my home gym and allowing me the in between weights for my dumbells. Used on my regular hex dumbells and tried them on my Nuobell adjustable they work on the Nuobell despite the shorter handle but my hands are average. For larger hands may not work for your Nuobells. The Micro Gainz are easy on and easy off
