Customers say
Customers find the solar panel performs well, with one mentioning it works great for charging a homemade power generator, and another noting it generates 5.3 amps in full sun. They appreciate its UL rating and consider it good value for the cost, with one customer specifically mentioning it costs only a dollar per watt. The panel is well-built and easy to install, though durability receives mixed feedback – while some report no damage, others mention the panels arriving shattered.

Not bad for the price.
Iâm completely updating my review now that I actually know what Iâm doing lol. Before I was too new at this and now Iâve learned more and had more time with the panels. I have 4x 100 watt panels in series. I use them to charge both 24v and 48v packs I build myself out of EV batteries or just plain 3.2V LFP batteries. Had I known back when I bought these that they were polycrystalline and not mono crystalline I would have spent the extra money and gotten the mono panels since they are more efficient. But I didnât know.Living in Florida the panels get HOT. I just checked with my thermal imaging gun and they are around 142F and we havenât hit the hottest part of the day. So thatâs some more efficiency loss. All that said on a clear day I can hit about 360 watts maybe a little more I have not kept track of the highest wattage output. I clear my Victron 250/70 (yes itâs over sized itâs for 12 panels I have on order that are 400w each but I wanted to use the Victron for now. I have other SCCs with similar results). Today I actually purchased a solar panel âsun dialâ I donât know itâs real name I forget but it tells me what angle the PV is at so I can adjust it to a perfect degree. Today is the first day using it and it does help squeeze out the max power potential when your angle is spot on. Iâve just been guesstimating this whole time.Having said all that Iâm happy with the panels for the price. With the natural losses on the panels/temp/cable. I think Iâm getting pretty good performance. For beginner panels in simple small sized systems they work good. Iâm now working in 48V systems so Iâm moving bigger more powerful panels.

Very nice solar panel
So 1st thing, I am personally new to the whole solar energy game, 1st thing I noticed is you NEED to buy the wires to connect to the plugs on the back of the solar panel, to connect to your controller. I had asked the question if you needed something like this to connect it before I bought it, but none responded to me so, I found out the hard way. The wires are not expensive but you do NEED them. Other than that is was in great shape when I opened the box. It had no cracks and was not broken in any way. I was a little surprised that the packaging wasn’t alot more secure from the manufacturer. Seems to me something made of glass would have ALOT of protection around it. But as I said it was in great shape when I opened it. But I did see in a couple of the other reviews, that people had received them broken.

Good; seemingly tough panel, but is not properly protected in transit.
The solar panel seems to work fine, but it came with minor scratches on the glass & a little bent frame… shipping material could be better I was disappointed in how this solar panel was shipped as I am fairly confident that, that is the reason for the scratched and bent frame.Aside from that its seems to be a good 100W panel, I have not tested its amperage output but it seems to work fine with my 30A solar charge controller hooked up to a 12V deep cycle battery, and is charging the battery back up after I boiled some water for some tea with an inverter.

Excellent panels
Shipping was quick, and my panels arrived well packled, and had no damage. I have 4 of these installed in 2p2s configuration. Mounted them in a row on two by fours. I get as high as 410W output as reported by my EcoFlow.

I have been really happy with all of my results this far
I purchased four of these and added them to a 200 amp hour system. I live in Alaska so the sun right now (June) is up about 18 hours a day so I do have a bit of an advantage. However, we get a considerable amount of cloudy days and when we do we get very thick cloud cover. I have been really happy with all of my results this far. The advertised amperage is accurate and so far the durability seems to be good. If all goes well this winter and they survive the -30 temperatures and 3 hours of sunlight a day will likely double my system. If you are looking for a good solid panel and are not needing to use as little space as possible this is what you want.UPDATE*** Still all of the original panels working and I am getting more every month to add to the system. No failures all positive for me!

The panels are sturdy and generate just as much as they should
The aluminum frame and wiring of this panel is solid. The MPT connectors are easy to connect to other components like an MPPT controller and the cables have enough length to make things convenient.I put them at a good angle and position to the high mid-day sun and nearly got the 100 watts of power.

Decent Panel for the Price
Initial review: Panel is decent quality for the price. $0.75/watt is a great price. Open circuit voltage was around 21.89VDC on a very sunny clear day, so close to advertised. Test was Northeast, North America. No test under load yet as charge controller did not ship on time. I have attached a photo of the internal lamination issues but other wise the panel is still a good buy. Also, included a photo of the specifications for the panel, which was omitted by the Amazon seller. Panel is manufactured in Indonesia. Overall, I still would buy again. I will try to post an updated review once load is connected.

These panels are tough!
100 Watt 12-18v solar panel: The panel arrived quickly, but there was an obvious penetration to the packaging. Upon opening the package, I discovered a pretty significant dent in the aluminum panel. No cracks in the glass or cells, but I was concerned. I needed this panel for the weekend. I tested it quickly with my meter and it appeared fully functional. After setting it up, it was charging my battery bank and working great! So, I can tell you that these are some tough panels, this one took a beating and still performed. Yes I wish it was not dented, but that is really the delivery carrier’s fault, as the panel was packaged very well. Very happy with seller!
