I am no longer a floor mat!
So I picked up the black mat for my new computer desk. The only negative I got for it:1. It takes time to make it well flat for the floor. Got to reverse roll it up and do it as frequently as necessary. It’s annoying, but an inconvenience only.2. I expected cleating but it was made for hard floors. While it can and has been used for carpets, it moves around a bit to be a large inconvenience. Please make sure you wanted a cleated carpet floor mat before you buy this hard floor mat.Positives:Thick, matches my desk setup and helps me maintain my apartment carpet for cleaning when I’m ready to leave here. It’s not bad for what it is, does as intended.

Seems dangerous, does NOT stay in place on hardwoods
this thing slides on hardwood floors. I am not going to use stickers on my new flooring. I wanted to protect it. Instead I’m nursing sore back from catching myself after it slid when I stepped on it to get to my chair.

A little flimsy but does the job
I have been using this for about 2 weeks now and it does the job. My biggest problem with it other than the fact that it is very thin, is that it moves around on the carpet over time. My office chair uses “roller blade” wheels and when you shift in an opposing direction backwards and forwards, the wheels have a little bit of a stop-point as they turn in the opposite direction. This tends to shift the mat ever-so-slightly each time. For me this shifts the mat forward over time, which is quite annoying after a while. It does the job I intended, which was to protect my carpet, but it needs to be double the thickness.

Good mat but it’s an active one.
The mat itself is pretty good. My chair rolls over it fairly easily. Only issue I have is that the mat tends to turn itself as I roll back and forth throughout the day, which is a little disgruntling as my desk is a corner one so I have to realign it every couple of hours. Other than that, I like it.

Moves around on a flat surface from computer chair movement, thus not adhering to my cement floor. I’d even say it has a mind of its own. This is also thinner than the ones we have at my workplace. May be better with thin carpet.I only give 1 star reviews to products that I have disposed, so I really don’t like it.
