Was excited to try it⦠oh well (update)
Really disappointed here. I love the idea of no subscription and SD card capability but you can tell the quality suffers because of that.My first Mubview doorbell was decent enough. Easy to set up and configure and good quality camera. However the battery life left much to be desired. After a little over a year it would not hold a charge to save its life.After about 5 months of no doorbell I decided to purchase this new model thinking the battery life issue might have been solved and the additional lower camera was a great selling point.However, after receiving the doorbell I ran into a new issue. The doorbell will not connect to the app after trying multiple times and ways to do so. It recognizes Bluetooth phone, turns on, but when trying to connect to the WiFi network it times out. Itâs 2.4ghz, same band as my phone, near the router, all devices reset. Still nothing.And to make matters worse, the in app customer service is basically non existent. Itâs been 3 days since I submitted feedback and their customer service hasnât even viewed the ticket yet.Would have loved to try this one but going to probably end up returning. Maybe the next model will work!Update: Had to download a new app I did not know existed. If anyone else is having this issue download their new app CloudEdge. Worked fine after that.

Waste if time and money
Iâve had for three months and the built in battery no longer charges. When I plug in the red led comes on and eventually goes to blue, indicating the battery is charge. But once unplugged it doesnât even have enough juice to ring the chime. Tried multiple cables and adapters. It also never worked very well with the chime. Overall a big disappointment.

Needs Thumbnail view in software and the ability to change Routers. Hardware is good.
The software is not so great. There is NO thumbnail in the message so you have to open every message to find out what set it off. It also loves to eat power. It won’t make it more than 2 weeks on its highest setting. Clarity is very good and installation was easy enough. Please update your software so I can see a thumbnail of what set it off and Please make it so we can change the Wifi settings! I got a new router and I can’t figure out how to pull it from the old router to the new one. To be clear, The Hardware works fine. The software not so much.

NICE BUDGET ITEM
I am.usimg mubview cameras for a several years. And so far aim pleased with quality and software. I like the fact that those ca.eras do not need monthly subscription and fairly easy to installation and set up as DIY project. I with their software, app would be bit more usefriendly and faster, but honestly I do not see much difference comparing ro.toher more pricey gadgets. Thisone particular, I was looking for wired doorbell. I like the fact it has SD card slot, so I can store a lot of history if it is need to.come back I can always can do it. Also double camera is a great move, as you can see all packages, dropped by the door. Overall I pleased with the product and price and I hope they will.improve the app.

It doesn’t connect to all Wi-Fi. Be careful.
I already have a cam the same brand and it works great but this doorbell just don’t connect to my Wi-Fi.I bought the first one, tried all the ways from the owner manual then, called Amazon customer service.After that called Mubview Customer service. (The brand customer service is really pour).After it I returned the first one and asked to replace.The second arrived. Did everything until ask again the Mubview Customer service.In the end, the attendant gives up and asked to return the item.

Love the brand
I’ve had Mubview cameras for years now because I don’t want a subscription. Get an SD card and I have months of video surveillance. I got the updated door bell for the 2nd view and had an issue with camera and Customer support answered me on a weekend asap. I love all the functions and ease of use in the app to set motion dection to exactly where it’s needed and to what sensitivity you need. It’s great not spending over $200 AND a monthly fee, and still have a great quality camera for security.

Easy to install/setup. Video and sound great. Itâs a good buy. Pulse does not require subscription. Instead I am using a SD card
