【Cable Railing Crimping Tool】 This cable railing hydraulic crimper is designed for deck cable railing installation, generating sufficient force for a sturdy crimp. Our customized hardened steel dies, specially designed for T316 stainless steel cable railing hardware, are compatible with 1/8″ cable railing kits. Package includes: 1pc hydraulic crimper, 1pairs of 1/8” crimping dies
【For Easier Frequent Crimping】 This hydraulic hand crimping tool features a 180° rotated C-style head for tight spots. The crimper is designed with an auto-releasing oil switch knob, making it easier for frequent crimping during cable railing installation. Once crimping is complete, simply turn the knob to automatically release the pressure. The ergonomic cushioned handle ensures a comfortable, secure grip, reducing hand and wrist strain while improving efficiency during use
【Prolonged Lifespan】 This hydraulic crimping tool’s cast steel head is forged from 5140 steel and tempered at high temperatures to reduce the risk of fracture, thereby prolong our crimping tool’s lifespan to accommodate extended usage in cable railing projects. The hardened steel dies make hexagonal crimping on cable railing fittings for neat looks and tight crimps. With their robust material, these dies can also easily crimp aluminum ferrules or copper
【After-Sales Service】 We have upgraded this cable railing crimper to resolve problems like broken head or leaking oil after repeated crimping. If you encounter any of these situations, please do reach out to us. Our after-sales service is available 24/7 for your convenience, and we offer a 30-day return or exchange policy. NOTICE: If you are getting SWAGELESS cable railing kits, there would be no need to use a hydraulic hand crimper
【Advice for constructing a system】 To help you construct a whole black wood system, we recommend the following product combinations from Muzata, including with 1/8″ black toggle turnbuckle MUZATA CK07, black adhesive washer CR67, black level protector sleeve Muzata CR88, ID-1/8″ vinyl coated black wire rope WR17, hydraulic crimper CR09, cable cutter CR12, drill guide CT09
Customers say
Customers report mixed experiences with the crimping tool’s functionality, with some saying it works well while others report it stops working after 10 crimps. The durability is concerning as the tool head breaks after about 30 swages, and while some find it easy to use, others say it’s not easy to use. Customers disagree on the tool’s strength, with some finding it sturdy while others say it’s not strong enough, and while some consider it good value for money, others say it’s not worth the cost. The pressure aspect receives negative feedback, with customers noting it never builds up enough pressure.

Almost perfect!
This crimper does the job well. The dies occasionally get stuck to the swag and seperate from the tool. They need to have a retainer added to keep them in place. They also occasionally will shift so they arenât perfectly aligned. It crimps even and doesnât distort the insert so it stays straight. The release knob takes a bit of torque to tighten and release.Overall it does what itâs supposed to do.

Worked best for me
I donât recommend trying to save a few bucks here. Some of the other crimpers donât work well for stainless steel. This job is kind of a p.i.a, tbh, and this particular crimper, being the second one I bought, worked significantly better than the other one I tried.

P.O.S. I threw it away. Stay away if at all possible
Let me preface this by staying I am a carpenter by trade with 30 years of experience, not a DIYer. First deck I used this Muzata Hyd Swager on, I blew out a seal after about 10 swages. So I used the included seal kit(I thought odd that they included but now I know why) to make needed repairs. Finished project with no problems. Did a second deck, no problems, (only had to make 20 swages on that one). Moved onto deck #3, I had 60 swages to make. I was 14 in and blew the same seal again. It’s a odd seal, not a o-ring so I had nothing on hand. So now it’s Monday before a holiday weekend and I have a railing to finish for a customers cabin who is having family arrive by Thursday. I ordered a different swaging tool, the only one that claimed to be delivered by Thurs. Also, the entire time I used it, the on/off dial worked horribly. You practically needed a pipe wrench to close the valve enough to build any pressure. It didn’t seem like it was user error as I was using thin walled SS fittings ea time and the fitting was never fully crimped ea time the seal blew out. Also, I own a couple of different types of manually operated Swaging tools and they require much less force to Swage fitting than this Muzata Hyd crimper does. I would suggest to stay away from this Muzata swaging tool if at all possible. Oh yeah, this happened 32 days after purchase. 2 days too late to return. Already in the trash.

need to modify the insert if you expect a strong crimp.
the tool is hard to use on stainless because stainless is hard. I found after I crimped all my cables and started to tighten up the tension the cable started to slip so I had to go back and put a 3rd crimp in the furrel or lose the whole component and start over with another..What will solve this is if you take the insert and grind down each half till the tool will crimp tighter around what you are trying to crimp. The handle takes King Kong to get a tight crimp because you have no leverage with the small short handles on this tool. overall it did the job without breaking but it was a chore…

Not for small or weak hands
I don’t know which terminals this tool was designed to work with, but the terminals I bought (DasMarine) were just a little too big for the small die, and wouldn’t close completely. It took three crimps on each to ensure the cable wouldn’t pull out under tension (had a learning experience there).I swiveled the jaws around to face the handle, that way I could put the tool on the deck and use my body weight on it to get a maximum crimp. You need also to ensure that the valve knob is REALLY tight, otherwise it won’t achieve the required pressure. It took some practice, some tweaking, and a few failures to get to where I could make reliable crimps. My first deck had over 50 terminals, so I got pretty good at it by the end.On the plus side, this tool makes much neater-looking crimps than the manual lever-type crimper, and once you’re past the steep part of the learning curve, it goes pretty quickly. On the negative side, it takes a lot more muscle than the “45-ton” designation would lead you to expect. Also, the first crimper I bought broke after only 20 crimps, and I had to order a replacement.Alas, if you do an internet search, you’ll find this item is the only hydraulic hand swager on the market (for less than $500 that is), so there you are. I was hoping for a tool I could add to my toolbox for many years to come but I didn’t get that. I still have it, but I need to find a better way for the next deck…(One quirky little thing here – the tool comes with an O-ring replacement kit, that’s good, – and a pair of knitted gloves that I guess are supposed to keep you from getting blisters while using it. But the thing is, the gloves are so small that anyone they fit would be unable to reach their hands around the handle to squeeze it!)

Crimping is a dream using this. Talked to people who used a manual tool, this is worth the money, especially if you have a lot to do.
