Happy Blinker!!!!
I looooove my Blink cameras & doorbell cam (I’m up to 5 now in total). The ONLY thing I wish it did was have continuous recording when it alerts to someone in its range. There are workarounds that get you pretty close but would be nice to have! The other nice to have would be a farther range. We have a pretty nice sized backyard and the camera at the backend of our yard doesn’t pickup activity until you’re a few feet away. But overall I’m a very happy Blinker!!!!

Just what I needed
Easy to mount and understandable directions wouldâve given it 5 stars but it didnât have the housing like the one for the 1st gen

This seller claims this mount works with the the new Blink doorbell. This is incredibly inaccurate. I want a needless day of waiting for the replacement back, yeah right

Good Mount, Just Wish It Had an Angle
So I grabbed this no-drill mounting bracket (this isn’t a version that can stick on, so look elsewhere if that’s a feature you need) for the new Blink Video Doorbell 2nd Gen, and honestly, itâs a pretty nice little accessory, functional and all! First off, the install couldnât be easier, no tools, no drilling into the frame, no frustration. You basically snap it on (fit is good), slide in the doorbell, and itâs good to go. It holds the doorbell firmly in place, and the anti-theft feature makes me feel a little better knowing someone canât just walk up and pull it off. The white finish also blends in cleanly with the doorframe, so it doesnât look cheap or bulky.Hereâs where I wish theyâd done something different though: an angle feature. This mount keeps your doorbell totally flush with the door (without any of that adhesive stickiness), which might be exactly what some people want. It looks neat and minimal. But the downside is you donât get as much visibility as you could if the doorbell was angled just a little. I noticed right away that the view is a bit more limited… it catches whoeverâs standing right in front of the door just fine, but packages on the ground or someone standing slightly to the side donât always show up clearly. For me, thatâs kind of a trade-off. I love the fact that itâs tool-free and solid, but I do find myself wishing it tilted a few degrees. Even a small angle would give me a better view of the entryway and the walkway. Itâs not a dealbreaker since the motion alerts still pick things up, but itâs definitely something to think about depending on your setup. Value wise, it can’t be beat.Bottom line, if you want your Blink doorbell mounted securely and looking clean without drilling holes, this bracket is a really good option. If you care more about maximizing the field of view, though, you might want to look into an angled mount instead.

Fine bracket for basic door mounting
I have tried multiple brackets to find one that fits my needs. This one is close, but not perfect (for me your mileage may vary)It is definitely the best made one of the bunch, it is quite hefty and sturdy and the rear screw pad is substantial. That said why isnvt it perfect for me?This is not an enclosure, just a bracket you mount the camera directly to using your factory rear plate. This is probably fine for temperate climates, but up north with heavy weather it could lead to water intrusion.I have an aftermarket full enclosure, and an angle bracket. I could not get either to mount properly to the plate.I would love to see some more versatile mounting options for the mounting plate so it could work with more aftermarket parts. This could be a perfect bracket with a few more screw holes. The Security tab… There is a small plate on the bottom that you mount with a screw that keeps people from pushing the tabs in and removing the camera from the base plate. I stripped the screw the first time I bolted it in, so it no longer stays secure. Thst is something thst should probably be looked into.

Didnât work for me
Itâs very sturdy and very well built, but itâs made for an exterior door thatâs much thicker than mine that doesnât have a storm door in front of it. I was hoping that I could make it work on my storm door, but my storm door wouldnât close..Even if I didnât have a storm door, it would not be a good fit for my door, which is just a standard Menards door with a window in it. Pictures show itâs stuck out about an inch into the inside, which people would be bumping into all the time going in and out of the door.

Great anti-theft effect
I like the metal material of this Blink doorbell mount, which helps deter theft. It is difficult to damage or remove without tools, which makes it a deterrent for thieves. The doorbell is stable and the bracket also acts as a deterrent. For the added security, it is worth the money.
