Cost Effective – Looks Good – Does the job
I bought these to string around my apples trees in the back yard for a wedding reception gathering we were hosting for a friend. It was a good deal for the amount given (100 ft). I own the Costco ones and I will say those are a bit more quality in materials, but you only get a short amount of line for the high cost. This provides a lot of feet for the money. I have had these up in my apples trees for 3 months now and like the lighting it adds to my yard, and they are working just fine! Definitely quality enough and much more cost effective.

Nice and bright for nighttime swimming in the pool
I put these lights around the pool so we could swim at night. I had bought a previous set from a different company but it didnât light up as well. So far, it has stood up to quite a few storms with no issues and all the bulbs are still working. They are nice and bright so we can even see the bottom of the pool! I only wish that it was solar so I wasnât limited to the distance of the plug.

I love that the bulbs can be replaced, this isn’t the case for all string lights, and they’re a relatively easy to find standard.They work with a dimmer, that was a non-negociable for us, and it works well.The installation was on par with others I’ve tried, the loops and clips on each socket make it quite easy.The spare fuse was a nice touch.The plastic bulbs and the large loops don’t look super great in the daylight but the convenience is worth it. Plastic might look cheap but it doesn’t break.We plugged it as an expansion into a different set of lights from a different brand and the brightness isn’t the exact same but we were able to position them in a sort of criss-cross where it looks like the different brightnesses are just scattered on the ceiling rather than one after the other. It isn’t ideal but it works.

At first I was skeptical about the bulbs when I received the product, because the casing is made of clear plastic and they’re a little scuffed up too.But I realized they are more durable than glass, and they’re very lightweight.Then I’m very impressed that the bulbs don’t generate a lot of heat, feels cool to the touch after a couple minutes on.The cord is attachable to more sets to extend the length,I like the fact that they included an extra fuse in the female plug.Clear instructions on the maximum amount of strings you can hook together and how to do that.I didn’t have an extension cord on hand, so the string can’t present nicely on the patio since the bulbs start at the beginning of the cord.Patio picture was taken in the early evening around 8pm, so there’s still some sunlight.Apparently this manufacturer also sells the solar panels to hook onto the light system, so that’s something to consider as an alternative if you don’t have a power source nearby.I’m keeping these indoor for now as a decor light on a shelf in a guest room, will need to put this on a power strip for easier access.

The lights look nice, and the bulbs are replaceable. Each socket has a loop and a clip, so you can easily hang this anywhere you want with many options. I will say they look much better when lit up, as personally I find the loop at the top a bit redundant and even unsightly. But most people probably won’t notice especially if they’re hung overhead, and with the lights on nobody will stare at the loop. Besides my pet peeve, the lights are fine and they dim nicely with our wall dimmer switch. It may be better if your switch allows calibrating the minimum wattage so your lowest step actually turns on the light (common problem with most dimmable lights). Oh ya, the bulbs are plastic so they should be quite durable if you live in a hail-prone area or got kids chucking baseballs around.

These were exactly what we needed to brighten up a poorly lit backyard. I find them a bit on the bright side, but realized after I got them that they’re dimmable! Now I need to get myself an outdoor dimmer.
