    Owala for life!
By far my favorite thermos I’ve ever tried, and I’ve bought a handful of them. Really easy to clean, keeps my water cold overnight and all day! It’s the perfect size for me, not too big and not too small. The design makes it easy to hold and my favorite part of it is the freesip and straw combo! I like my straws to be covered to keep dust and germs off of it and I absolutely love the design for the straw. The color combos are really cute, too. They are worth the hype! Owala for life!

The Best Water Bottle I’ve Ever Owned—Hands Down!
I’ve tried a lot of water bottles over the years, but the Owala FreeSip is in a league of its own. The 24 oz size is perfect for throwing in my bag for work, errands, or workouts. It keeps my water ice cold for HOURS—even after being in a hot car!The real game-changer, though, is the FreeSip lid design. You can either sip through the built-in straw or tilt it back and chug from the spout—all without switching lids. It’s super convenient and leak-proof, which is a must for me. I also love the flip-top lid that locks in place so it doesn’t accidentally pop open in my bag.The “Denim” color is sleek and stylish—neutral enough to go with anything, but still has a cool, modern vibe. And bonus: it’s BPA-free and easy to clean. If you’re looking for a high-quality, versatile water bottle that actually makes you want to drink more water, this is it. I’m already planning to get a second one!

My go-to water bottle, I take it everywhere I go
Whenever asked by recent high school grads what advice we want to share related to college, the first thing we say is to “get a sturdy, insulated water bottle” and we still live by that to this day. Because when we were in college for the first 2 years, it was so easy to forget to drink water. It didn’t cross our minds that staying hydrated would just drastically improve most things (mood, focus, energy, etc). College was always hectic and it was also easy and convenient to waste money at a vending machine and get a quick coke drink. But ever since owning a water bottle, it has been a physical reminder to just sip water instead of getting a sugary drink. That helped us out a lot in fighting the lingering Freshman 15 weight gain too.My wife and I were among the early owners of Owala bottles when they first came out and way before they became trendy on TikTok and became known as koala nose bottles. They were selling them at our local Sam’s in a 2-pack 32 oz black and grey set. It was (and still is) an awesome water bottle and lasted us for years, even after college. Super sturdy and durable, we still have our first bottles. But because of accidental drops, the paint chipped, had scratches, and a few dents on the bottom. It still works in keeping our water cold and hot or cold and we use it to carry ice when camping or having picnic dates at the park. My wife’s favorite water bottle color is white: sleek and clean design, very good looking. So I ordered this 24 oz for her as a surprise. She was very pleased. It’s a smaller size than the 32 oz and she can hold and grip it better since it’s smaller. This is our go-to water bottle. The only brand we use and recommend to all our friends and families. Even ordered two more for my mom and dad. I’d put ice with water in it the night before and it’s still ice cold the next morning until the afternoon, and the ice still hasn’t completely melted then. It’s very well-insulated and very functional. When my wife was recovering from covid, I made her green tea and poured it into her Owala bottle. We didn’t know it was going to retain the heat so well, even after 3 hours and would’ve burned her if she didn’t test it first. It felt like boiling water when she dipped her fingers in. The exterior felt neutral, not warm or hot, so we didn’t know.Overall, this is a heavy-duty water bottle and works incredibly well for insulating both hot and warm water. Even when dropped on wood, cement, tiles, or concrete, it retains its shape albeit a few small dents on the bottom. My wife and I will continue to use our Owala bottles and will buy new ones when the time calls. As long as Owala is still in business, they’ve earned our trust and we will continue buying from them.

    obsessed
The whole thing about being able to choose whether you use the straw or tilt it to chug is awesome and all, but mainly I was scouring the internet for a bottle that had some kind of straw mechanism that wasn’t (1) on a spring-loaded flippy thing that would eventually wear out and stop working, (2) wasn’t open to the air where it could collect other peoples’ geeeeerms when I took it around everywhere with me, and (3) didn’t have some kind of screw-top or other cap that I wouldn’t be able to open one-handed. DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD THAT IS TO FIND? I do.Literally, Owala was the only brand/bottle I found that checked all three of those boxes. THE ONLY ONE. So even though it was a little more than I would normally pay for a water bottle and I hated that I couldn’t customize my colors, I decided to give it a try. And lo, I found the light and the heavens blessed me with a (near) perfect water bottle.I’ve used my bottle pretty much all day every day since purchasing it several months ago and it works as well now as it did when I first bought it. I do worry about the spring-loaded lid release eventually wearing out, but it hasn’t yet with constant use (and more than occasional extra use for funsies). The only sign of wear over time is that there are a few small (aesthetic/surface) scratches on the outside from a couple times when I dropped my bottle on concrete and asphalt. I wish they weren’t there but it doesn’t affect anything except my delicate eyeballs. My only qualm with the bottle’s near perfection, which seems entirely unavoidable from a design perspective, is that ice cubes inside of the bottle make a lot of noise when sloshing around and bumping up against the metal interior. When you work a job that sometimes requires near-complete silence, that noise can be an issue. For most, it probably wouldn’t matter in the slightest (when I’m at home, I don’t even think about it). I don’t blame Owala for this. But if they solved it, then it would be the holy grail of sheer perfection designed to hold ambrosia for the gods. Until then, I feel honored to partake. The handle is convenient for carrying. The shape of the bottle (flat on the sides) is a clever touch that makes it easier to grip for twisting off the top and such. It fits in average cup holders. It’s leakproof when the lid is secured well and the cap is clicked into place. The button to open the cap is strong (works well) and is easy to press. If the handle is down (it gently clicks into place if you fold it down), it covers the button and prevents any accidental presses. That said, while it could theoretically be pressed accidentally if you leave the handle up/open all the time (like I do), it has never happened to me.The inside is metal, which keeps the insides cold for ages (with ice). The straw is plastic, which stops the water from tasting like gross metal water bottle. The outside is… not-metal, which means the sun can be directly on the bottle and warm the outside while the inside is still ice cold and, more importantly, that there’s no condensation on the outside getting everything around it wet (bane of my college existence 😐 ). Vinyl stickers adhere well to whatever the outside material is.It disassembles into straw, lid, and bottle for cleaning, and the the shape of the lid makes it a lot easier (and way more sanitary) to clean than any other straw-based bottle I’ve had/used. I run the lid and straw through the dishwasher occasionally. I think the bottle recommends hand washing but I forget; in addition to hand washing, I occasionally do a polydent cleaning to eliminate any odors and ensure all bacteria are dead af. It works like a charm. This is a 100% honest review and I generally try not to fangirl or gush excessively: this bottle is /that/ good. I legit recommend it for anyone looking for a water bottle (unless they prefer the big mouth/screw-top kind) and am very seriously considering buying one for everyone in my family.

This bottle has genuinely become my most favourite water bottle I’ve ever owned. Such a cute design (although I can’t speak for some of the others… lol), and the handle makes it very comfortable to carry. I love the straw and the fact that you can choose to sip or chug from it! It also keeps water cold for such a long time. Unfortunately, I’ve dented my bottle already by dropping it (about a metre drop), so it isn’t the most dent-proof but you can always get a silicone boot to protect the bottom. After reading some reviews, I was worried that the bottle might come dented, but thankfully it was sent in a padded mailer and in great condition! My Owala literally comes everywhere with me now and I honestly can never go back to my other bottles. Although it may be a bit pricey, it is 100% worth the money as you’ll get so much use out of it. Also reminder to take all the silicone bits out and wash them individually to keep everything clean! Definitely recommend this bottle if you haven’t bought it already.
