Great extension to the Power Blocks
Iâm doing my workouts with an online trainer at TrainWell (highly recommended them). I do my workouts at home where room is at a premium. So I had the 50 lb blocks. When my trainer said I was ready to move to 60 lbs, these were easy to get and extend my blocks. These extended weights are easy to place with core system and because of the size is small enough I store them in a closet. I do my workouts outside in Florida, so hot, humid, salty, rainy environment, and they are still holding up great. I have been using the Power Blocks EXP for almost 2 years. The weight steps are great. Even the grips as still holding up.

A great weight set.
Perfect. I love these powerblock weights. They make storing up to 90 lbs so easy. The adjustment is easy and intuitive once you use them a few times. I don’t drop them or throw them, but they seem like they would hold up to a good amount of tossing around. The form and function are perfect for a home gym.

DIDN’T fit, replacement set does
I had to return the first Stage 2 kit (pictured) and order a new set, and pass a P/N for my Stage 1 handles through support. But the new set fits exactly right, and works just as advertised. I don’t know why there are different versions under the same label — smart bet is probably to go for the fully equipped 100 pound sets right off the bat. Anyway the final product is very very good.Original review (1*): The expansion is a different size altogether from the original stage 1 kit. They’re incompatible.

Pleased with these, a simple but effective mechanism for adjusting the weight. The weight feels well held once the pin is fully inserted and I’ve not had any worries about part of it falling on me even with overhead exercises. I considered the other version of adjustable dumbbells for which the weight is adjusted by turning a dial at either end – but opted for these as it appears there is less to go wrong with this mechanism in the future. They’re not cheap so I’m hoping they will be durable.A few minor negatives – the pin can be fiddly to insert unless the plates are lined up properly. Also the label on the dumbbells states that the handle weighs 5 lbs. It felt a bit light for that – and at least on my kitchen scales it weighs exactly 4 lbs… All the other stated weights appear correct however, within about 500 grams.

Love these! Does exactly what it says on the tin. Great way to have a full set of DBs in a small, small space. Very quick and easy to change weights.For my home I might have bought the Sports 9.0 so I could go up in weight further – but these are perfect to leave at my dad’s as a mini-gym for when I am visiting. Very happy customer.
