So far so good.
Easy set up and started right up. Seems like strong engine and the rest is just mid to low grade but works well. I will only use is for very small lawn over septic and clearing for fire once a year. 4 star is for strong engine but cheaper components surrounding it. They do not send you enough oil to fill it so have some on hand.

I couldn’t find this product for my husband really anywhere in California. The only thing I was finding here was battery operated or electric lawnmowers. Thank you for providing this product in a gas powered lawnmower, and deliver such an item with free shipping is a plus I would recommend this lawnmower to others, specially if they live in CaliforniaKathy from California

This push mower, might just surprise you!
There’s a lot to like about this Power Smart mower.It’s mid March and the grass isn’t growing yet, but I looked at this mower from top to bottom and liked what I saw.Here’s what impressed me, and what (and there wasn’t much), that could be a bit better.The mower feels light and nimble, yet it has a strong steel deck. My dad bought a couple of mowers with light alloy decks and we put a few rocks right through the sides. No worries when the deck is steel.I really like the quick release levers on the upper handle. It makes folding for storage much easier and quicker.The top handle has a thick foam cover on the bar, but you loose some of that comfort when you pull in the safety lever. An indent in the handle to conceal the smaller lever would be sweet!The spark plug boot is metal. Very durable and a nice addition.I also really like the front and back height adjusters. There’s just one lever for the front wheels and just one for the back. I know some mowers have a single lever for all four wheels, but I really prefer having two, because when I run into very high, overgrown grass, I can keep the front wheels higher than the back for easier cutting.Having three mowing options – side discharge, bag or mulch is always nice. The side chute and bag attach easily and firmly. The bag has a rear strap handle for easier unloading, and the side discharge chute locks in place firmly. It looks to me like you could, if you wanted to, bolt the chute in place. There are holes in the chute that line up with dimples in the deck. You could drill down through the dimples and add bolts.I added the supplied 10w30 oil and gassed it up. There’s a primer bulb, and that’s good. It appears to be made of neoprene perhaps? I like this much better than the plastic ones most primer bulbs are made of.Pushed the primer three times and the engine fired up on the second pull. Let it sit for 10 minutes and it started up with no primer on the first pull.Just a note on the engine oil. The manual notes in multiple places, that it takes 16.9 oz. of oil, but the tag on the engine and the supplied bottle of oil is 13.5 oz. ? – The 13.5 ounces of oil do fill it up. I imagine they just need to revise the manual.Also there is no mention of how to drain the oil when it needs a change. There’s no drain plug on the bottom so like many other mowers you simply need to tip it on its side and drain out through the filler.As for the the few thing I would add or change to up its rating from really good to top notch;+ Adding a fuel shut off valve is something I like on all my lawn and garden equipment.+ Change the oil fill plug to a screw on rather than a push in rubber plug.+ Changing the grass diverter under the deck from plastic to metal for durability. (see photo)+ Revise the owner’s manual as needed.
