PowerSmart 80v 21″ bushless self-propelled lawn mower
I purchased a PowerSmart 80v 21″ brushless. self-propelled lawn mower from Amazon for $399.00 plus tsx $23.94 for a total of $422.94. I used the lawn mower twice a month in May, June, and July, before travelling to Canada and Alaska for the month of August. I left the lawnmower under my deck fully covered by a tarp. After fully charging the battery. inserting the key, and attempting to start the mower, I am highly disappointed that it won’t start. I have tried it several times, but nothing seems to work.The PowerSmart website indicated that it is under warranty for 2 years, To make a claim under this Limited Warranty, you must return the entire power tool product; transportation prepaid, to PowerSmart. Include a legible copy of the original receipt, which lists the date of purchase (month and year) and the name of the company Amerisun.

Excellent grass cutting quality, plastic handle-bar assembly just feels a little flimsy
Purchased this mower after a good experience with the PowerSmart brand Snow Blower. First unit I received was damaged, but I am not taking that into consideration in my review, as the seller was very polite and helpful and resolved the problem to my complete satisfaction.Product is HEAVY, but assembly is super simple. No concerns there.The initial mow quality is *excellent*. I was surprised how the motor behaves itself, directing more power to the blade as needed when engulfed by tall grass.The only thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars is the handle-bar assembly is mostly plastic, unlike the PowerSmart Snow Blower, which is mostly sturdy metal. This does result in a light feel during operation of the mower, but it also is a little flimsy, giving me somewhat of a concern for the long-term viability of the handle-bar assembly. I have no functional problems with it yet, but a tall piece of plastic seems like it might have issues down the road.If you own 2 PowerSmart 80V products, you never have to worry about running out of battery, as you can interchange the batteries between them (hence why I decided to combo my Snow Blower with Lawn Mower)

Arrived broken and non usable
This high priced lawn mower arrived poorly packaged and many of it’s plastic parts were broken when I opened the box. It looks like it happened both at the packaging plant and some in transit. So many plastic parts that are very very cheaply made. The key to turn it on and the clasp that holds the handles up in place to push the mower were both broken when I opened the box. So disappointed in this product. I had such high hopes for this battery operated mower. I could not use it because of these key parts arriving broken and no I was not going to wait for replacement parts. For this price, it should have clearly arrived without broken parts. Returning immediately and not interested in paying for another one not for this first impression on this buy. Horribly disappointed.
