great tool to have
it works every time. we are now fighting over who gets to use it for work. LOL. have to get more. yes you can get a wrench but with this no more guessing. once it clicks you are done. what I found that is helpful is once you get a click just rotate it once more time and it’s good to go. right tool for the job.

A small torque wrench
I bought this at the start of my first year. It has held up but that may because it can only do the small cast iron couplings which is not often used in commercial plumbing. If you buy this just know you will likely either be buying the other one or barrowing the other torque wrench from a coworker.

Torque Wrench
Great product! I’ve be a professional plumber for 9 years and own several Ridgid tools, none of which have ever let me down as far as performance and quality. As far as torque wrenches, I shopped the internet, I know all the other brands and choices and this wrench is not only made by one of the best plumbing tool companies out there, it is great quality for the money.

This tool is awesome. It allows me to tighten my hose clamps perfectly every time. I even did a test where I tightened and loosened a clamp over and over without it breaking. I did it about 10 times and the clamp worked perfectly each time. It actually got hot because I did it so many times. But it never failed. No more guessing if a clamp is tight enough.

I am a Journeyman plumber that has done lots of cast. I have had 3-5 other ones from local plumbing wholesaler for which most have not lasted, especially the recent cheapos they have in stock now. This feels heavier and better built. Glad I did not believe other review saying it felt cheap cause I felt the opposite. Ridgid has a good name in plumbing/sprinkler fitting and I feel this tool is well made, but, I just got it and have used it only one day, so, time will tell longetivity.
Good level at first but doesnât last. –
Poor quality build, I shouldâve trusted the reviews stating the tension pin on the inside of the handle shears off, which it did after a week of use. Ridgid warranty is a nightmare to deal with if you live in Canada. The quality is not the same as it once was. As I professional I suggest looking at Reed manufacturing for pipe tools.

really eliminates the guess work if i tightened the mj band enough or notthe handle should be designed to work straight or as a Tcons- is that it’s pretty useless for undoing the mj band and it is pretty heavy compared to the older version of the product
