Customers say
Customers find the microphone stand to be solid and effective, particularly with Rode NT5 matched pairs, and appreciate that it saves the need for two stands. The product is easy to set up and offers great flexibility for different mic’ing options, with one customer noting the helpful diagrams showing different mic positionings. While some customers find it reasonably priced, others consider it somewhat overpriced, and there are mixed opinions about the included adapters, with one customer reporting missing 5/8″ mic clips. The plastic construction receives mixed reviews, with several customers describing it as cheaply made.

Perfect On Several Counts!
This is well made, has great flexibility for different mic’ing options, includes measurements and angles on the mount, and is one of the only I’ve seen with the standoff so the mic’s/cables don’t interfere with each other for some of the mic’ing techniques. Great price for all this… Only warning is that you may need an additional adaptor for the mic clip mounting.

Decent stereo bar
This bar is pretty decent. It is marked for different configurations but I mostly just use x/y. Easy to adjust. Seems more durable than some others Iâve used. Might be a little plasticky.

Do yourself a favor and buy this
If you are a serious audio person then this is the stereo bar youâll want to buy. Sure itâs more expensive then other ones, but the build quality on this is exceptional. And it has all the proper distance markings on the bar so you donât have to get out a tape measure every time to get the proper microphone placement. All the other bars I investigated donât have all the markings as they should. Even the one we use at the concert hall where I work isnât as good. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Not the cheapest but glad I selected it
Ordered this with my 2 NT50 mics and loved it out of the box. Love the diagrams on top showing different mic positionings. Used it right away on acoustic recordings with great results. Not the cheapest but glad I selected it.

Worth the slightly higher price
I was wondering if this was really worth the money they were charging for it when you can get a similar product for half the price but it is!First off, as someone new to stereo recording, itâs tough to position two mic stands properly not only to avoid phasing issues but just getting the correct angles for XY, ORTF, etc.The guides on the bar are extremely helpful for placing your mics at the right angle for XY, ORTF, spaced pair, and anything else you could think of. It comes with two spacer clips attached to the bar so you can place one mic above the other when recording XY.Plus itâs just nice not to have to deal with multiple mic stands. As I mentioned it does come with spacers AND thereâs a mic stand adapter thatâs already screwed into the stereo bar so if your boom arm or whatever uses a larger threading just unscrew the metal adapter and youâre set to go plus you get a bonus adapter for your mic stands in the future. One thing I would recommend is getting the pivot adapter because unless you have a really short mic stand or a taller chair then youâll have a little trouble pointing the bar at the sound source. Itâs not impossible but itâs worth spending the extra money. I didnât know about that when I bought this and Iâm going to purchase that now.

All the right stuff
There are a number of choices for a stereo bar like this for mounting small condenser microphones but Rode’s simple addition of clear ruled markings makes this a snap to set up consistently. It mounts to microphone and light stands with simple adapters and has most of what you need. straight out of the box.

Excellent addition to my recording gear
I initially bought a less expensive stereo mic bar. Big mistake. The Rode is wider for better stereo separation and has spacers making it easier to do X-Y and ORTF without mangling the mic cables. Well designed and executed with the angle markings on the top and spacing on the front. Should have saved the time and bought this in the first place. Works most excellent with my Rode NT5 matched pair.

SaÄlam ve kaliteli bir Stereo Bar. Ana materyali kalın plastik, metal deÄil. Bu da onu hafif kılıyor. Rode M5 mikrofonlarımla birlikte kullanıyorum. M5’in yanından çıkan RM5 mikrofon tutucular bu stereo bar’a çok iyi uyuyor. Ãstten mikrofon tutuculara, alttan da bir mikrofon standına baÄlarsanız, uzun süre kullanabileceÄiniz bir stereo kayıt setiniz olur.

I wanted to try stereo recording with two microphones and this seemed like a good solution. Very happy with the quality and ease of use.

Todo en un solo pie de micrófono, podes utilizar distintas técnicas de microfoneo con el stereo bar, muy funcional y bien construido.

All plastic – was hoping for metal.

Worked as intended. Itâs made of plastic but doesnât feel/look cheap. Non-matching mics for demo purposes only.
