Works Great
Works great for moving 50 lb. recumbent trike rack around

VERY helpful for moving heavy racks!
I ride recumbent trikes…my kids, and my riding buddies, all ride uprights. Because of this I have 3 bike racks (trike; trike and one upright bike or 5 uprights!) that I have to swap out depending on who I’m riding with. Add the fact that I live in a major city and can’t park my car and still leave a rack on it and I’m constantly adding and removing my racks. Recumbent trike racks are VERY heavy compared to standard and it can be a pain to do this every time I ride. The Saris rack dolly has been a great help! The unit is very basic, made of just a length of square tubing with two wheels attached, but it’s genius. You simply slide it over the end of the rack’s tube, install the pin and you’re off and running. You simply tilt your rack up and the wheels on the dolly roll very smoothly. It makes it much easier than having to lift a heavy rack. While it is a bit expensive at $50, for me, it’s worth every penny. I don’t have to lug a rack from my storage unit to the street to install it anymore. Thank you Saris!

Bike rack is heavy, with arthritis it may as well weigh 300 pounds
This should make it a whole lot easier for my wife and I

Makes it easy to move your bike rack around.
Works great for wheeling around my bike rack instead of having to cary it, since it’s close to 50lbs. Makes moving it from the driveway to behind the garage much, much easier. Also, the small size makes it easy to toss it in the trunk to use it upon arrival at the destination, since sometimes you want to remove the bike rack (at a cabin, camp site, etc) so you can easily access the trunk or rear of an SUV. The only think that would make it better is if the wheels were larger to get over cement cracks/expansion joints or uneven terrain better.

A good companion bike rack dolly for people who struggled to carry their rack
The unit itself is very well-constructed, easy to roll on pavement, simple to install and can be removed very quickly. I was thinking this dolly will help lessen the effort of carrying the heavy bike rack to my SUV.In my case, I stored my heavy double bike rack in my outdoor storage shed and I encountered two issues:1) I need to transport the bike rack through some soft ground with grass and muds. The smaller wheels did not roll very well soft ground. I am planning to replace the wheels with larger, off-road type so I can roll the rack on the grass.2) The heavy rack is not very well balanced while I was rolling it. The narrow length, with about 4 inches apart between the two wheels, make the rack very tippy side to side. I am planning to fix this by replacing it with a longer rod to spread out the wheels. With all these ‘upgrades’, I don’t think the dolly worth the $50 price, and it did not work for my need without adding more parts to address the two issues above. I hope the manufacture will create another ‘off-road’ or larger-side dolly for those with the similar needs. For those who are struggled to carry the rack, so this can easily roll on concrete, this dolly can be very helpful to lessen the weight transporting the rack.

Solid Build, Works Great With My Kuat NV 2.0, One Design Flaw For My Uses
This is a simple, but well designed and well built, tool for wheeling heavy, unwieldy bike racks around. It installs in seconds and once installed it takes very little effort to move my heavy Kuat NV 2.0 rack around. This device won’t help you hoist the heavy rack into the hitch receiver, but it will get the rack to your vehicle. The only issue I have with this device is that I wish the wheels could be locked so they don’t roll. I store my rack propped against a wall in my garage and I can’t store it that way with this device installed because the wheels cause the rack to slide off the wall. So I have to remove it and store it nearby, then reinstall, each time I want to mount the rack on my vehicle. I also think it’s a bit pricey for what it is, though it does work well.

A great product to make handling bike racks easier
I have 2 e-bike racks that are very heavy (60lbs & 75 lbs) and they were a pain to move around the garage because of their weight as well as being an awkward shape to carry. This little Dollie that fits over the end of a 2″ receiver really helps alleviate that problem. The wheels have mounting holes in all four sides, so the wheels can be mounted either inline with the long axis of the rack (photo 1) or at 90 degrees to the long axis (photo 2). Mounting across the axis as in photo 2 definitely makes it easier to wheel the rack around, but since the rack is sideways, it can be hard to maneuver into tight spaces. WIth the wheels mounted in-line, it is a little harder to balance, but you can fit into higher spaces because of the orientation of the rack. The dollie is well made and solid and I am sure it will last a long time.I really like this Dollie – it makes moving heavy bike racks around the garage a lot easier.

Pricey but helpful
A simple design but well made overall, if a bit pricey for what it is. I’ve struggled with hauling heavy bike racks to and from our truck for the last couple years and appreciate how small this attachment is…something you could keep in your car or truck to help ease the load off of heavy racks. The pin is easy to latch and unlatch and it’s very simple to attach to the end of the rack. I will say that the wheels and wheel base are pretty small…so this works best on flat, even surfaces…not so much on dirt or gravel, and you do need to maintain balance so it might work better on some racks depending on the layout and your hand hold.
