Just a cool lock designâ¦
It’s just a very cool design for a locking system and the cable is the perfect length. I don’t know how secure it is with the little wire dongle for the trunk, but so far it’s been enough of a deterrent to keep my bikes from getting stolen and, frankly, any locking system can be defeated, so all I’m really asking for is just enough of a deterrent.

Poor design, not secure
The lock will fit through the cable loop. Does not provide a secure method of locking a bicycle.

Your bike can still be stolen
The idea is okay but I I really donât think that flimsy wire which goes through the trunk door to the anchor is strong enough to withhold snips! I made my own secure anchor which will make full use of the security cable.

Easy to steal
I don’t understand why this expensive unit has a thin and skinny wire from the trunk. The Thule and yakima are cheaper price and much more secure with a thick flat cable that comes from the trunk so they’re 1 piece. I can snip this one off with handheld wire cutters. Bad design. Stay away from this one.

Box was previously opened
This review isnât about the product but the retailer. The product came and it was clearly previously opened. The keys were not in the bag but loose in the plastic box and one of the zip ties had been cut. Luckily all the pieces were there and the lock was functional and intact.
