A Utilitarian Powerhouse
So I purchased this portable steamer a little under three months ago. I use it regularly, a few times a week. It’s easy to love a product when you first get it, and this one I did. And I still do.First things first, this product is meant for those who wish to reap the health benefits of regular steam exposure in their own home, without a stupid expensive gym membership, or the bells and whistles that come with. It’s exactly what you need to meet that goal, no less, no more. Little chair, little tent, extremely powerful steam pot.The chair is small, but stable. I’m 6’4″ and 180 lbs. and it supports me just fine. I also fit within the tent, snugly but well enough. Tent materials are light but durable, no tears, seams are also holding up great, and it is indeed waterproof.Clean it. After every use, wipe the excess water out with a towel and then spray the inside of the tent with rubbing alcohol and let it air dry. Do this faithfully and you’ll be fine. Don’t, and it’ll smell like fermented gym socks.Power. When I tell you this thing is powerful, I mean it. I turn it on and the lights in my bedroom dim lol. I have yet to be able to take a full 20 minute session on 9, the highest power level. You can fill the steam pot half way and it’s plenty for that length of time, and it’ll heat quicker than if you filled the pot all the way.This thing works. It’s awesome. Yes, it’s slightly more expensive than some of the options out there – but absolutely still a great deal – but those few extra dollars will buy you a ton of extra quality. Promise.

Update: Its been about 3 weeks and my sleep has improved. It does have a very small impact on my blood glucose. My wife even says my snoring has stopped on days I use the sauna. I bought a thermometer/humidity gauge and confirm it gets to 104 degrees with 97% humidity. I’m up to about 17 minutes on the high setting which drains about 1/3 of the water pot.Sounds gross but I haven’t even had to wipe it down at all. I just open it fully afterwards to air out. Doesn’t smell. I do need to empty the steam unit inside the tent before i start a new session as that fills with water but its quick, less than 10 seconds. There was an initial scent when I first got it but it disappeared after the first use.Original Post: Itâs been a week and Iâm really happy with the purchase. Itâs half the price of the competitors and it fits the my needs.I purposely looked for a shorter tent figuring it would heat up faster and didnât think Iâd be standing anyway. Iâm 6ft tall and itâs plenty tall sitting on the provided seat.I have it set up in the corner of my bedroom and It takes 10 minutes to heat up. It gets plenty hot and Iâm up to about 15 minutes before coming out sweaty. I set up a pocket outside the window to set my phone in so I can see the screen and watch videos while inside.I bought it to see if it would help me sleep better and manage my blood sugar. It takes about 10 minutes to heat up. While the jury is still out on helping me sleep and impacting my blood glucose, I do notice my breathing and congestion is reduced greatly.Tent construction seems great and the machine I expect will break eventually. Question is when will it break but looking at the reviews for the Facebook expensive versions, they donât seem that much better with way worse customer service than Amazon.Definitely worth a try if you are looking for a sauna/steam room tent.
