Happenstance –
Works very well. Excellent product, great value, so many uses.
I don’t know how this works, but just that it does. I love how light-weight this material is and that it does not irritate my skin. Bought it to apply to an old surgical scar and ended up also using it on a small burn on my finger. I love that it comes with separately wrapped strips you can cut to size because the rest of them stay sealed until you need them. Really happy with the price. SO much more affordable than when I had to buy a similar, but much thicker, version from my surgeon after a c-section years ago. Great value. Will buy again as needed to keep on hand for myself and the kids. Saw on social media that you can use these to deal with frown wrinkles and going to give that a shot next.

Pretty good deal due to the reusability
I got these for free for an Amazon Vine review. So far they are pretty typical of silicon scar strips with one noticeable exception, the RecoverEase Silicone Scar Strips can be reused. Yep, you read that right, reused. You wet them and reapply. That is a total game-changer for anyone dealing with scars or skin issues where they may be using scar strips for a week, because with a 12-pack of individually wrapped strips means you get a couple to a few months of treatment per box. If you cut them, possibly more. The strips are also super convenientâjust peel and stick, and you’re good to go as long as it’s on clean skin. Theyâre soft, comfortable, and stay in place although they are very noticeable if not hidden under clothing. You can wear them day or night without worrying about them slipping off, but due to the noticeability, I don’t go to the grocery store with them on my face. They look kind of like a bandaid when applied. I chose them for an improvement in the appearance of my acne scars. These strips being cuttable make it very useful in that regard. Silicon strips trap in water and that aids in healing and hydration, so as you would expect my skin feels more hydrated. If youâre looking to fade those stubborn spots and help your skin heal, these strips are definitely worth the try but they won’t help ice pick scars. However, they are a game changer for after using your pimple patch, and cutting a small box to place over the now healing area seems to prevent scarring most of the time. The only thing I don’t like is that I feel these could have come with an additive to assist with further healing but I get why they don’t, not everyone has the same issue or type of scar and not everyone can tolerate additives. Price wise, what with the reusability, I would say this is a pretty good deal. The scar strips I have used in the past, have not been reusable. I docked a star for lack of in-depth directions as the box isn’t exactly user friendly if this is your first time with this type of product, but I do feel you can look all that stuff up.

Very effective scar strips
I developed an inflamed mole a few months ago. The dermatologist first tried to freeze it off, but it didnât work. At my next appointment, she removed it completely by shaving it off. Basically that means she numbed the area around it and used a scalpel to remove the mole. After the area healed, I was worried about scarring. Luckily the wound didnât keloid, but I was left with a red discolored half inch line. I was told silicone scar strips could help with faster healing. I cut a piece to fit around my scar and kept in on overnight. I did not develop any irritation and the strip stayed in place nicely. Iâve been consistent with applying the scar strip everyday for a month now. I can say my scar does appear to be fading. The color is now leaning more dark pink than red. My derm said even with the scar strip it may take more than a year for the discoloration to completely disappear. Hopefully this product will speed up the process. Highly recommend

These are an essential part of scar treatment!!
These ended up being a lot better than I expected them to be!! I got them to help with a recently injured area that I didn’t want to scar, and these allow for scar gel or cream to be applied at night, and have it not rub off right away. I have cleaned them several times and reused them, and they are all still going strong!Overall, if you have an area that you are treating to try to prevent scaring, something like this to cover it is essential. For one, you want to treat that area at night. For two, you also want to cover it up so the cream can treat the skin ALL NIGHT long, when your body does its best healing. For the very low price of under $14 currently, these strips are a GREAT choice that provides a ton of value, since you can continue reusing them. I would absolutely Highly Recommend them!!

silicone scar strips
I scar easily and have tried different creams and oils to minimize the appearance, with varying results. I decided to test these on a cat scratch on my outer thigh. I followed the directions to wait until the cut had healed (ie no scab). It was pretty straightforward. Since these strips are pretty long, I cut them in half to fit the length of my scar. They stick well, but since it was in a location with a lot of movement, I did have to smooth it several times over the day, and the first one completely came off the very first night when I was sleeping. It says you can rinse these and reapply but that one disappeared to who knows where, I checked the sheets and comforter and couldnât find it.Overall, I would say these work well, although not as well as I had hoped. My skin is probably just difficult (especially being so pale, any kind of blemish is noticeable). Itâs still pretty noticeable, but Iâm sure it simply needs more time. These strips feel nice and are great at keeping the moisture in (I hate when scabs get dry and itchy).
