Great for my guitar case and a Comprehensive kit for most all adjustments!
Great set, nice compact case. Wish the case could hold the wrenches, but thatâs not s big issue as the wrenched are thin and compact (fits under volume knobs!). Very fast delivery and excellent communication. Comes directly from StewMac (their logo on the box, packing tape and invoice inside the box), so you know itâs not a cheap knock off. Also, the packing list has a return label, in the event that thereâs an issue. This is really ideal as part of a tool kit with other stuff like extra strings, polish, etc.A true luthier would have more specialized individual items that each have their own handle for hours of use daily, but that was not the intent of this set (too expensive and wonât fit in my guitar case. I searched all over to find a COMPACT AND COMPREHENSIVE kit that can do most everything… this is it and worth the price!Great for quick adjustments (I hate regular âLâ shaped Allen wrenches). I will buy a kit for each guitar/bass case of mine.Because it fits in my guitar case, I alway have everything I need with me at all times for that quick adjustment or âoh-crapâ moment. Iâve already used it on my friendâs axe to adjust a saddle and reset the intonation- very Johnny-on-the-spot tech savvy.âThe best tools are the ones that you Have With Youâ- thanks to the compact size, you can have it with you. Will also buy them as gifts for my band mates and friends.Yep, $59 and worth every penny!

great all in one set
contains just about anything one will need when working on guitars, really nice and compact set. A bit on the expensive side, like most StewMac things, but in the end worth it.Only real downside is the label in the lid showing which bit is what size. It’s dark grey with black print, which makes it pretty much impossible to read w/o shining a flashlight on it, dumbest designs I’ve seen for such a label that should of course be white with black print. And maybe a slightly larger font?Hard to understand how someone though ‘great idea’ after they spent some time figuring out which bit and other things should be included. Removing one start, tempted to remove two.Is this essential? In no way, you can get all these bits for a lot cheaper by themselves, but not in one nice well organized box. I probably have most in other tool boxes and drawers, but I keep all my guitar tools in one dedicated tool box and this is certainly a nice addition. And I don’t have to run around to find this or that bit or screwdriver when I need it.
