These Can Lights Are Lit â Literally and Figuratively ð¡ð¥
These Sunco can lights are awesome! Super slim design made install a breeze â even in tight spots. Bright, clean light with no flicker, and they look way more expensive than they are. The included junction boxes made wiring quick and painless (which is saying something).They lay flush, donât trap heat, and give the room a modern, polished look. If youâre on the fence, jump off and grab these â your ceiling will thank you.

Bright, easily dimmed, ok install, highly functional nightlight – 4.5/5 rounded up.
We’ve installed 2 of these, are about to put in 2 more. They throw off a ton of light at full brightness, but aren’t finicky about dimming down to a very cozy glow (so long as you’re using an LED-rated dimmer – if not they’ll flicker, but that’s true for almost all LEDs), and the night-light feature dims and brightens nicely as well. Very wide angle, and the 3,000K setting (warmest these get) is a crisp, clean light that isn’t too cold.The wiring inside of them is kinda crap, ~16ga stranded, but that’s par for the course; you’ll also be a little frustrated getting them on the ring that comes with them (similar to a smoke detector where you twist on) the first few times, but they get easier with practice. I was able to put them on an existing ceiling box from previous lighting installs, and they come with easy hardware to do that, or mount directly, and a bunch of other options as well. On the whole, a solid buy and a nice light we’ll install in several rooms in our house.

Nice looking inexpensive replacement for Halogen
I like the appearance, brightness and quick installation clamps of these units and they even adapted to an existing rotary switch on the cabinet. Fast and inexpensive fix to replace hot and expensive Halogen lamps.

Easy to install. Great lighting. I’ve been using the first 8 I bought for my ketchen 2 years with no issues. Bought more to a replace a 2 tube 4 ft. fluorescent fixture that I changed to LED tubes and then to 3 of these. What a difference they make in appearance and lighting.

Please Read Before Buying Them!
I’ve purchased these in 2019 but writing a review now as bunch of them gone bad. So be prepared to replace them every 2-3 years. Worst part is the you will have to replace both the junction and lights as their old junction boxes do not work with new lights. Are you kidding me? So they expect the customers to rewire new junction boxes every time their light go bad as you just can’t swap out the bad one with new one. Apparently, they’ve changed drivers in junction boxes and they are flimsy plastic boxes now as compared to the old metal boxes, which required to be grounded.Their customer service is responsive only to what they want to hear. They clearly said that even in the future if the lights go bad, I would still need to swap out both junction boxes and lights…How crazy is that and no wonder they’ve so called 7 year warranty !!!! They sent me new lights and I had to pay electrician again.. to have new junctions boxes rewired and remove the old ones.. Good luck if you want to go with them as you will have to replace these every 2-3 years and waste your time and money!What’s the point of having those light connectors to the junction boxes if you can’t use the old junction boxes.Better go with old tried and tested brands than them. I would also recommended checking other options like installing CAN lights so that you can just swap out the bulbs if they go bad.The fact that I am writing this review after 3 years should stress how painful it was for me to have those junction boxes replaced. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM.
